If Fulham were to continue picking up points at the rate they've done this season they would end on 32. If they suddenly hit form and picked up a point and a half per game they would potentially reach around 36.

But Fulham weren’t capable of holding on to their league so really the best way of looking at it is by the points we’ve got rather than every 10 mins of a game

If we were to mess it up, even before this weekend we deserve to be relegated to be honest. To throw away 7 points at this stage would be very poor indeed.
Fulham are still 7 points behind, which is huge at this stage of the season. Covid and no fans has made this season bizarre.

Fulham are a team of loan mercenaries who are just there for the cash. When they are relegated they won’t really care and will just move on. Good riddance in my book

I think Fulham play Wolves on Friday night afore we meet Newcastle.
They'll need to win that to put ourselves and Newcastle under a tad more pressure.
If they don't then a draw would probably suit both us and Newcastle
but must admit to having a pretty bad gut feeling that we are going to lose
against them.
But if Fulham lose to Wolves and we do to Newcastle then we'll still be 7 points ahead.
Too much for Fulham to make up even though they've still to play us and Newcastle at home?

Would like to think so.

Watkins came across as a really good guy post match aswell, first time I've seen him interviewed.

I suppose the point is that had we held on to our lead, which shouldn't have been that hard given the accepted strength of our defence, results like Fulham's or Newcastle's wouldn't matter.

Fulham did us a massive favour today.

Had they taken 3 points, it would have put the heat well and truly on us.

As it is, they're 7 behind with 7 to play (8 for us). As said above, to throw that advantage away would be unthinkable !

36 points is pretty much guaranteed to keep you up, so one more win means we will definitely survive this season. Fulham won't get ten more points.

Unlikely though this might be:
If we manage to get no more points Fulham would need a point a game.
anything is possible.

But that could leave Newcastle in the bottom 3. It's good that it's not just one team in the crap.

True, but Newcastle would have 3 points from beating us.

Only bed wetters would even consider us for relegation, not on the cards and never has been.

Fulham are a poor side who are littered with loan players who don't have the stomach or bottle to go the full 12 rounds

Penalty rightly rescinded. Mings gifted the goal not the powers that be.
Penalty rescinded because VAR intervened because he thought that Lamina played the ball.
VAR operator was the same guy who, when refereeing, awarded Leeds a penalty for a foul by Pope, even though Pope got a lot more of the ball than Lamina did today. He is obviously improving!

Aston Villa didn’t do anyone a favour ., it’s just we have a majority of fans who think negative and don’t believe in there team and manager enough. I’ve seen enough since probably beginning of December to think we won’t go down we are in every game and playing some proper football this season.we are on a false points total should be higher IMO.We don’t need favours I couldn’t give a crap if Fulham won we won’t go down end of .

I've heard many times before that a team is too good to go down.

'False points total' - what on earth is that?

No team is 'too good to go down' unless they get the points on the board to prove it.

Throwing away 2 goal leads doesn’t help
