Nick Pope article on the BBC
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56772431
Though why he wants the old YC goalposts who knows, sentimental attachment I guess from his time there.
And he's got aspirations of being a striker. Mind you don't all keepers.

Re: Nick Pope article on the BBC
Nice story but fannying around biding for stupid stuff isnt going to help improve his kicking
Re: Nick Pope article on the BBC
If he has nets with it he could grow some beans.
Re: Nick Pope article on the BBC
Sorry but isn't this the most important aspect of this story.
"I thought it would be a good thing to help the club if I won the bid and if someone else outbid me then that would be more money for them.
"I still follow them on social media and keep an eye on the results. They played an important part in my career so it's nice to keep an eye on them."

He can buy what he wants, and has helped a club that need money.
Nothing to do with his goal keeping abilities, why didn`t you say that this wouldn`t improve his shot stopping?

Encouragement to chipbutty.
I like your idea of heading your posts with a summary of what it is you are saying. I also agree that your post was a pointless statement but keep going and you'll get the hang of this messageboard lark eventually

16 clean sheets in 24 games, brilliant record at any level.

Tip for chipbutty.
Try and consolidate your viewpoint into a single position cos if you just throw out sporadic random ideas you sound like a bit of an idiot not to be taken seriously even if you might know the score

He could get his brother Josh to go in goal.
I'm sure there's at least one lorry driver on here who could organise transport for him.
