After our recent defensive frailties, and with Pope and Dwight out, I’m dreading today

On the plus side, the later kick-off means it can’t ruin my whole Sunday/weekend.

Fulham will lose and we will emerge 1-0 winners and safe by 6:00pm tonight.

I backed Newcastle, Fulham, Man Utd and Brighton to win, one down three to go - if the weekend is going to be disastrous, at least it will be profitable.

You’ll need to turn the tv on, or you’ll not no what certain posters are slagging off our players and manager off for!

No one expects them to win today. For me however if we can play well (as we have done at times this year), that will do for me. I cant stand losing and playing badly in the same game-no excuse when you see what these guys earn per game (and for some for not even being available)

Fulham would have five games left to make up at the very least seven or eight points and that is assuming we lose our last six.
WBA might be the more likely danger but not much.

I'd settle for an Arsenal win and a 0-0 draw for us, best I think we can hope for today.

I'd settle for that outcome TBH, but it would typical of football this season for both Burnley & Fulham to win, it's been such a weird season that nothing would surprise me anymore.

And it's worth noting Sheff Utd won at OT recently, so it's certainly not a fortress, but I don't really expect a result for the Clarets today, so as long as the status quo is maintained, we can be reasonably content.

For me the Wolves game is the one we have to be looking to nab 3 points from, after today's game at the Emirates Fulham don't play again until the 1st May, and that's away at a resurgent Chelsea, so by the time they KO at the Bridge we could be 10 points clear, and they'd only have 5 to play.

West Brom could come up on the rails, but they'd have to maintain their current form which is a tough ask, so all going to plan we'll hopefully be safe by next Sunday.

The most important thing to remember is despite these last 2 defeats are fate is still very much in our own hands, yes it helps if our rivals lose, but we don't need them to lose, we can confirm our PL status by ourselves and not be relying on favours from other teams, but of course an Arsenal win would be welcome today just to ease the nerves if nothing else.

For me the numbers don’t matter. I want to see a hearts legs mind performance
