Clarets Store
Clarets Store
Does anybody know if the store at Charter Walk is still closed and is the store at the Turf Moor still closed on Sundays?
Re: Clarets Store
Looks like they've moved out of the charter walk shop.

Suppose that’s a reason for it to be closedClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 11:40 amThey continue to tell us that the shop on Charter Walk continues to be closed but they made the staff there redundant months ago.
It is a shame though. Not having an “in town” store could be a mistake.
Not everyone is able to get to Turf Moor easily, whereas if you are in town, you could just pop in if you needed something (admittedly the choice wasn’t always that great as they never had the full stock in)

Re: Clarets Store
The number of times people went in for things to be told they were only at the store at the ground was ridiculous. I know it wasn't the biggest of shops but they could, had they been allowed, have stocked a lot more. On non match days it probably should be the main store (in normal world) because there are people in town but not people hovering around the ground.wilks_bfc wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 11:58 amSuppose that’s a reason for it to be closed

They've never said anything other than it remains closed but the evidence suggests for now that it isn't going to open.

Completely agree, it should be the main store on non-match days.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 12:06 pmThe number of times people went in for things to be told they were only at the store at the ground was ridiculous. I understand the reason for closing due to COVID, but now that the world is (hopefully) getting back to normal, the overheads for it surely aren’t that much for a Premier League club to accommodate.

Re: Clarets Store
It is probable that the overheads of running a town centre store are substantially greater than at the much bigger one at the Turf (rents and rates). Our retail operation revenues of £1.8m from 2 physical stores and online are such that the Town Centre store has probably struggled to break-even in normal times and under current regulations would be losing money hand over fist.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 12:06 pmThe number of times people went in for things to be told they were only at the store at the ground was ridiculous. I’ve often wondered why the club have never looked to pick up one of the units opposite the College.... a huge football intake, McDonalds and Asda and units that are obviously priced so as to be worth a go for testing the water. It would make much more sense than Turf in Town... which unless you go into the centre (I cannot remember last time I did) is really more awkward than going to the Turf.

Hello. Anyone having problems ordering online? Trying to order the '88 away shirt which became available recently but every time I press 'checkout' it takes me to my account details. Nothing wrong with my account details or anything as far as I can see, just seems to be a glitch, so I'm never able to get as far as my payment details and delivery details, just a dead end. It's annoying.

Is the club shop in town definitely no longer there?
