A lovely cream cardigan, with mahogany wooden buttons.
You dont see enough if them these days, fair play Scott Parker

Just the two ruled out so far in Fulham’s favour.

Re: Todays football 18/4
Arsenal won't win this and I'm so confident that yesterday I put a decent size bet on a Fulham win. £240 return.
Re: Todays football 18/4
Fulham offered absolutely nothing going forward, just waiting for Arsenal to bring out the weekly shotgun and blow their own foot off.

VAR really needs to have some discretion when it's a toenail that's offside.

The longer this goes, the worse for us. Too many games end with one side "stealing" the points. Got to say Fulham are defending pretty well

VAR give the decision to Fulham, because they always do.

Definite pen but he was offside by today’s method of deciding things

Re: Todays football 18/4
And now we're witnessing referee's awarding penalties solely on the basis that VAR *could* disallow them.
This game has been a disgrace to the spirit of the game.

Re: Todays football 18/4
Did Gabriel even touch him? they didn't even bother looking at the ''foul'' just the offside? The onfield referee didn't give the penalty, the lino did. Why didn't he look at the screen?

Fulham’s decisions from VAR for the past month have been incredibly suspect. Everything possible being done to try and keep ‘Scottie’ up.

Re: Todays football 18/4
There is no way WHATSOEVER that should ever have been given.
Re: Todays football 18/4
No less offside than Arsenal's goal, looked a dive too. Just don't understand what VAR is offering the game at all. Ruining my enjoyment for sure.

Never a penalty in a million years. Just threw himself up in the air expecting contact. And the ref and var fell for it.
Re: Todays football 18/4
The gods are against us. We'll probably lose to United with a debatable penalty.

Re: Todays football 18/4
Exactly.
The referee only gave it because he knows that VAR are sharing the responsibility for the award.
So wrong decisions get rubber stamped by VAR.
It's cowardly and wrong.

Re: Todays football 18/4
TBH I'm getting past caring. Football has lost so much with VAR and diving.

Re: Todays football 18/4
When we play Fulham, which is looking like the decider quite possibly - you just wait, VAR will be key.
Re: Todays football 18/4
Newcastle were always going to win
Fulham were always going to get something here
Its sods law
Hopefully we can get a point at united or the season swings in our favour in the next few gamea

I think it's worse than that.Claretincraven wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 2:50 pmNever a penalty in a million years. Just threw himself up in the air expecting contact. And the ref and var fell for it.
I think the referee there delibrately gave a wrong decision. If he hadn't awarded it he'd be the sole arbiter.
But by giving it, the decision automatically gets reviewed. So he gave a wrong decision based on the knowledge that he'd receive "backup" from VAR.
And VAR simply rubber stamped the orginial incorrect decision.

Lacazette, Martinelli, Smith-Rowe, El-Neny, Ceballos have all been awful. So many overrated players in this side.

We’re in a world of **** if Fulham win this and we only have ourselves to blame.
We should’ve been safe 2 games ago.
