Re: Todays football 18/4
Thank flip for that, 97 minutes what a killer for Fulham that could be.
Their own fault though for conceding a needless corner at the death.

Brighton's fixtures look tough - we could still finish above them I feel.

I still think 36 is the required total, surely we have three points in us?

Ps Pepe is appalling!!

How much money did Fulham spend this time, I know it wasn't over £100 million this time.
But they have still spent abit, and got a few big money loan signings too.
Money doesn't buy you safety, not with how Fulham spend it anyway

Maybe he's thanking them for the gift of a penalty and how the final whistle came too soon.EricaJacko wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:30 pm"Fulham boss Scott Parker is arguing with the officials as they walk off. Presumably he feels that late goal was offside."

Re: Todays football 18/4
You'd think so wouldn't you, but the injuries aren't helping us, fortunately Fulham have thrown a few points away in recent weeks otherwise it really could have been squeaky bum time.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:33 pmI still think 36 is the required total, surely we have three points in us?
Fulham's lifeline is their 2 home games against Burnley & Newcastle, but even winning both of those might not be enough for them, they'll rue blowing the lead at Villa, and they'll rue today, 4/6 points that went begging for them in those closing minutes, and that would have made the world of difference to their hopes.
Ideally we'll pull off a shock today and put the issue to bed, this is no help for the nerves all this stress.

Re: Todays football 18/4
Surprised it wasn't ruled out, it looked like it easily could have been.
Not as bad as Bournemouth last season. Somebody forgot to turn the goal line technology on in the Villa v Sheff Utd game, when Sheff Utd scored a clear goal but it finished 0-0.
Villa stayed up by 1 poiint, but would have gone down on goal difference had that clear goal been given. The referee even said he thought it looked like a clear goal, but he was trusting his watch and it didn't buzz.

I think he might be complaining after that late goal. He must be gutted.

Just got in, turned the TV on, seen the Fulham result and breathed a sigh of relief.
Never expected Fulham to get much at Arsenal but to throw 2 points away in the last minute is so Fulham, and the reason they will get relegated
I guarantee that West Brom will finish above Fulham

West Brom now have every chance of climbing above Fulham, but as long as we finish above both who cares.Top Claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:49 pmJust got in, turned the TV on, seen the Fulham result and breathed a sigh of relief.

Celtic miss a penalty, sums up their entire season.
Coventry still leading Barnsley, that would just about make them safe you'd think.

Wins for Coventry in the Champ, and Rangers in the Scottish Cup.
Leicester-Saints SF starts at 6.30, and there will be fans inside Wembley.

Under the new European Super League coefficient, if Southampton win this Semi-Final, then Manchester City will play Chelsea in the FA Cup Final.

Newcastle (6 games) – Liverpool (A), Arsenal (H), Leicester (A), Man City (H), Sheffield United (H), Fulham (A).
Fulham (5 games) – Chelsea (A), Burnley (H), Southampton (A), Man Utd (A), Newcastle (H).
Burnley (6 games) – Wolves (A), West Ham (H), Fulham (A), Leeds (H), Liverpool (H), Sheffield United (A).
Brighton (7 games) – Chelsea (A), Sheffield United (A), Leeds (H), Wolves (A), West Ham (H), Man City (H), Arsenal (A).
is our run in too easy? or is it case of just don't lose to Fulham?

No reason why we can't win five of those games.

Re: Todays football 18/4
Very true we've already beaten Liverpool, Sheff Utd and Wolves this season, and drawn with Fulham in a game we probably should have also won, and we equally lost narrowly to Leeds and West Ham, so those fixtures shouldn't hold any fear that's for sure.
Personally I'll happily settle for a couple of wins and a draw, that would take us to 40 points, and let's be real here there's no way that Fulham or West Brom will approach anywhere near that total.
It's one of those times when you feel one win will kickstart our season again, the problem is just getting that elusive win.
We've actually played pretty well in the last 3 games, but it's not performances we need it's results by hook or by crook, and if it means grinding out a gritty 1-0 then so be it.
