It's frustrating how we can hold up against the best pretty well but throw away games, or don't turn up when it matters.
And if we do go down it will because we've done exactly this all season and it's so, so unlike us.

Think about the win at Everton instead.
Sure thing chief.

Yup. There are some similarities to our first season up with Dyche. Aston Villa at home comes to mind. Should have won that game.

Luckily for us we still have time to turn it round. It's up to us to make sure we're not that usual one team that gets dragged into relegation.

We were 1-1 at Old Trafford with 7 minutes or whatever left and looking solid. Changing things to bring Vydra on earlier in the game sounds good in terms of Fantasy football, because of course he would've rocketed in the inner with the change having no impact on or solidity, but in the real world I don't think any manager would have done it.

Agree with this. Vydra benched was to be an impact sub. He’s not a player you bring on to see a game out.

Can anyone explain how cavani isn't offside?
The ball was played across so not a forward pass :(

An excellent spirited performance, well-organised and a pity we couldn’t hold on. Play like this for rest of the season and we will be safe.

Despite him looking really good recently and making us into more of an offensive threat, I had no problem whatsoever with SD benching Vydra to go 4-5-1 for this match. It seemed eminently sensible to me and tbh Dyche should do it more in the particularly difficult away games imo. It wasn't far off working, but unfortunately when it goes wrong so close to the end, it means it's all a bit late to alter it and have any impact.

Flattering scoreline for ManU.

Why do we continue to play so well away from home yet we struggle at home. We're also pleasing on the eye away from home. We did well today and scored three goals, unfortunately only one of them countered.

There is a remarkable statistic showing how lack of crowds has basically neutralised any how advantage many clubs had.

Totally agree. Away from home against decent sides, this should be our formation.

Against Wolves 4-5-1 looks the best formation to counter the likes of Adama Traoré

The 5 in midfield yesterday ensured we were not over -run in that area, unlike second half performances v Southampton and Newcastle. Lets not forget Man Utd have some of the countries best players in Pogba (on current form), Fernandes, Rashford, and about 8 others. It proves these sides are possible to get points from (Sheff Utd beat them recently). Such a shame nothing to show for our efforts-feel for the team

You cant be offside if you are behind the ball, which Cavani was.
