Bump.
Both sets of fans protesting outside Elland Rd ahead of tonight's game.
Good for them making their feelings known.

I'd love Leicester and West Ham to finish in the top 4 this season, that would truly make a mockery of this supposed superior big 6, and expose the farce of the ESL for precisely what it is an elite closed shop league which you can buy into, not something you have to earn on playing merit.

I want Liverpool to win as it'll mean Leicester can't relax going into their game with WBA on Thursday.

Re: Leeds v Greeds (Liverpool)
Game should have been postponed as all this Super League business seems to have put the mighty whites off their 'A' game. Leeds are potentially in the mix for a Champions League spot next year so I think its a poor decision to make us play amongst all this disruption and chaos.

Sky reporting City, Chelsea and RM could be out of the CL semis by Friday.
I would suppose the same would be true of ManU & Arsenal in the EL?

Hmm! I'll believe it when it's announced officially, the problem is I doubt that'll bother their owners they don't appear to value trophies over money.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 8:52 pmSky reporting City, Chelsea and RM could be out of the CL semis by Friday.

I’m actually disappointed that people are watching!
It’ll be a long time before I watch one of the 2 and 4 playing again, outside of matches against Burnley.

Re: Leeds v Greeds (Liverpool)
All the fans , players and managers/ staff are against this stupid breakaway European League ( clubs from 3 countries)
It is the mainly American owners who are seeking it.
We have American owners who may have been for it if we were a top 6/8 club.
It won’t happen as too much to lose for these clubs.
I shall carry on watching all the matches on Sky from all leagues
Some I watch with no sound on when the hopeless, know all and arragant Hinchcliffe is on

Hardly. Both these clubs have been bankrolled from one source or another to a huge extent over the past few seasons.

All clubs are bankrolled to an extent in the modern era, however the difference is I don't see Leicester or West Ham playing billy big boots and crawling off to a European Super League at the drop of a hat.evensteadiereddie wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:42 pmHardly. It’s a drop in the ocean, of course it is, and no, I’m still going to follow my team whoever they may be playing. Outside of this, I won’t be giving any of my time to any of these teams for the foreseeable.

Re: Leeds v Greeds (Liverpool)
And, as I said, WHU and Leicester have been bankrolled to a relatively huge amount not just "to an extent"........old debts written off, ground scams and so on so their "success" has not come cheap.
