So Liverpool have now played twice since becoming an ESL club, and they've failed to win either game, it's not a great start is it.

On a serious note that is a great result for our youngsters, by all accounts Liverpool have the best academy in the country, so to gain a creditable draw against youths of that calibre is too be applauded, and once again shows how quickly we are progressing at this age group.

I know that the remaining fixtures are difficult with 2 games against Man City who are currently second in the table and two other games against Boro and Derby who are both just above us in the table, however, it should be noted that our tenth game of the season was a 1-4 defeat against Liverpool.
After that match we had played 10 W3 D1 L6 F16 A 22 Pts 10.
Since then in League matches P10 W5 D2 L3 F16 A 8 Pts 17.

That is a sign of improvement throughout the season which is never easy with the necessary changes in the squad with player moving up to the Under 23 squad. Well done to all concerned, however, I still really miss being able to go and watch a lot of these matches!

Excellent post Ashington46 and that last sentence I can definitely agree with. I miss going to U18 and U23 game so much.
