I don’t think the tweet means l’equipe the magazine, the third paragraph just starts off L equipe , which simply means the team.

They probably do, doesn't mean he'll commit to signing though, just as no doubt Burnley would happily give Tarks a new deal, but again he's under no duress to stay.

Why would RC sign a new deal at Celtic, when in 4/5 months he'll be a free agent, and able to command a decent signing on fee from any interested parties due to this very fact.

Of course there is the possibility that Christie and his agent are using this to try and get improved terms from Celtic.

It turns out that the rumour about cornet saying no to us comes from that l’equipe article a few days ago saying the player would prefer to play for hertha. Since then we have heard much more positive news from Alan Nixon. Let’s hope he’s right and we can wrap this cornet deal up.
