Maybe it's SD's frustration at this one getting away yet again that is causing the delay in him signing the new contract

perhaps you would be kind enough to forward the report you've had prepared for the last 5 years to the mod at 'Up the City' website!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 3:46 pmHe's moved from Bristol City to Luton on a free transfer

Damn and blast. Once again my flabber is well and truly gasted. No Ashley Young, and now no Angela Lansbury either. It’s a disaster bigger than the Covid outbreak.

Incredibly it is six years this summer that we last tried to sign him. Apparently he walked past me in the Bob Lord reception on the day he came to sign.

Where's Andrew Driver now?
Re: We've missed out on Henri Lansbury again
Lee Trundle, Henri Lansbury, Andrew Driver- we could have been Champions League contenders if the board had only signed these guys.

Re: We've missed out on Henri Lansbury again
I was going to a meeting downstairs and was waiting in the foyer when he walked behind me apparently to go upstairs. It was the day after we’d lost at Port Vale in the League Cup. Before I left I was told Lansbury was there to sign and that we’d also be signing a German striker that week, and that one did happen.CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Sat Jun 19, 2021 7:26 amSo you spoiled it!
