Apparently the systems keep throwing up an error code when they try and set the BL tickets to 50 quid

It's a good job it's a couple of months until the season starts, or I'd be worried we're not ready on or off the pitch.

I’m just hoping they’ve had to close it because that’s where we’re hiding all our signings!!! It is Thursday after all…

Maybe those who think all tickets are £50 should tag along with them

Re: Club shop and ticket office closed
Those are seniors prices
£36 is an 80% increase over the £20 cost over 2019/20 season.

Go and watch League 1 football if you don’t want to pay Premier League prices.

Pacey and Dave have probably got rid of all the club shop staff as well without even realising.

How have the new owners convinced fans that the rising prices is a good thing?
I understand our prices are cheaper than every premier league club but Burnley is one of the poorest regions in the country. The increases highlighted are crazy high. I think closer to 10% would have been easier to take for the majority of fans.

Really don't understand the moaning about ticket price increases. It had to happen eventually, prices have been frozen for years. And season tickets are still great value compared to some of our Premier League counterparts.

You don't understand why raising the prices for tickets in a time when people are struggling for money and are being offered an inferior product in exchange for more money is a problem?BuryClaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 12:08 pmReally don't understand the moaning about ticket price increases. The club originally tweeted the following, then deleting it:ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 10:57 amClub shop - closed today and tomorrow to prepare for kit launch.

| Due to unforseen circumstances, the ticket office is closed until further notice.
Please head to our website to buy any tickets or email ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com if you have any enquiries.
The Clarets Store is also closed as we prepare for the 20/21 home kit launch

20/21?!? It's not the first time the club has made this mistake in a tweet, then deleting the tweet afterwards!

Inferior product ? When did we get relegated ?
Re: Club shop and ticket office closed
If the squad was considerably stronger than it was at the end of last season then I don’t think people would have a problem with the price hike.
As it happens it isn’t, though.

They haven’t raised all the prices though have they? Season tickets were frozen and plenty of Matchday tickets available at exactly the same prices as 18 months ago. No one is forcing you to buy a £50 ticket.

In Germany they have fans of all clubs uniting to keep ticket prices down across the league, over here we have fans of the same club shouting each other down because they insist a US finance company should be charging them more to watch their club.

As others have pointed out, you don't have to pay the £50 though do you - you could go and sit in another stand for £35?

Early bird prices were the same but remember they were set early in 2020. The full price season tickets have gone up significantly in some areas and the concession prices even more.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 12:23 pmThey haven’t raised all the prices though have they? Yeah bizarre isn't it but nobody said football fans are that intelligent did they, and this proves it on here at least.NottsClaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 12:54 pmIn Germany they have fans of all clubs uniting to keep ticket prices down across the league, over here we have fans of the same club shouting each other down because they insist a US finance company should be charging them more to watch their club.

Closing the store to prepare for a kit launch!?
Dressing a mannequin in the kit, popping up some new visuals in the store and logging the stock / barcodes shouldn’t result in the closure of the store.
Most work could be done behind the scenes and the ‘front of house’ stuff done between closing the previous day and opening the next.
It’s perhaps not a huge deal, but it’s not exactly professional. There’s a long way to go for us in a number of off the field areas.

They do this every year don’t they?
Re: Club shop and ticket office closed
I still don’t get “kit launch” do people actually turn up in the hundreds to buy it? Or is it to do with advertising. I’ve never been able to get excited about a football shirt and a pair of shorts.
