After the Leyton Orient v QPR game tonight. Even if it is a draw, there is no extra time and straight to penalties, so probably around 10pm tonight.

Leeds come in at the 2nd round stage though we'll likely get a bye straight to the 3rd round next year

I'd say a winnable home tie, but considering our dire record in this comp it may not matter who we play.

Barrow or Morecambe would be good, have we ever played either of those in a competitive fixture?, if we have I can't recall it.

Played Morecambe in League Cup 2nd round in 2010 and won 3-1, can't find any competitive game against Barrow.

If we're honest with ourselves it doesn't really matter who we play in cup competitions, we're not that keen on them really, we'd rather be out of them

Apart from our tie, it was interesting. Morecambe v Preston, Blackpool tie.

Pretty meh draw that, still I suppose we might finally get revenge for Hillsborough 74.

Terrific draws for Barrow & Newport, and not half bad for Morecambe either another tasty local derby for them, except this time they'll enjoy home advantage.

It's slightly further north. And there were more Premier league sides in the southern half. Of course, the massive club that is Leeds probably balances out with arsenal+watford+Brighton.

Good point. It makes you wonder how they've even managed to fit Leeds into just one side of the draw.

I actually thought West Brom was slightly north, but turns out there's really not much in it. Interesting about the spread of Premier League clubs, makes sense.
