Didn't see one made yet. Fingers crossed we can get something today. Up the clarets!
Ugh McNeil gives it to Wood on a plate and he misses the connection.

We look up for it so far but they could easily have scored if it wasn't for an offside. Very poor corner from Westwood but Pickford gifts another. Another poor corner and they've won it back.

Decent first 10 minutes, Dwight looks bright again. Just need to make those chances count when they come.

Mee has a good chance from a good corner from Westwood but puts it wide. Everton look flustered, their fans are groaning.

Brownhill... He really is just a body in a shirt. He's the most average player I've ever seen.

Tarkowski takes out Richarlison off the ball. Enjoyed that one.
Brownhill misses a great chance other end.
They counter and almost score but Pope makes a save.
Crowd come alive but Burnley fans soon drown them out.
Great support.
66% possession from us.

Re: Everton (A) Match Thread
Great play by Wood and Barnes to set up Brownhill, but a poor effort from Josh.
We need to score well we're playing this well, as they will improve 2nd half surely.

We are all over Everton currently and perhaps should have had a penalty for the foul on Tarkowski

VAR check for a red card Richarlison.

I wouldn’t want to fight Richarlison…Imagine trying to get inside of that nose jab.

Story of our season, we're playing well enough, but if you don't convert your chances it's hard to win games.Buxtonclaret wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:34 pmHate it when we're so on top and don't score.

Atkinson is having a poor game so far, he's letting far too much go. He'll start booking people around the hour mark

Quality has been poor today. Think conditions and pitch may be playing a part. Both sets of players seem to be sliding around a lot.

Playing well. Same old story. Must take chances. Gudmundsson rather anonymous

Decent half but I'm fully expecting benitez to get better of us second half he always does.
It helps him that he know we will be exactly the same just a bit more tired.

Re: Everton (A) Match Thread
I think we’re playing really well, don’t know what some expect?
We could easily be three up here (Wood and Brownhill both should arguably have scored and that’s a stonewall pen on Tarky). Pope restricted to one save.
Keep it up.

Brownhill and wood should have scored. McNeil excellent. Gudmundsson quiet half, central midfielders both sloppy.
