Anyone else think a Norwich winner would go down well just now?

Davis Cup.
Britain go out to Germany. 1-1, doubles to come and they manage to lose 2 tie breakers. Losing the second as the Germans take 7 consecutive points.

Re: Tonight's Games
1-1 will suit us nicely, but we still need to ensure we collect something at Wolves tomorrow, otherwise it won't matter how the other games pan out.

Because they kept giving pens away and getting away with them

The goal by Pukki would have been considered a tap in for Maxwel.
Re: Tonight's Games
That Krul on Vydra (non) pen and Anderson on Wood are probably up there the worst decisions in the Prem all season from what I’ve seen.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:16 pmBecause they kept giving pens away and getting away with them

Re: Tonight's Games
Newcastle just got away with some of the worst defending I’ve ever seen.
One have it away while the other gave him a free run on goal.

Re: Tonight's Games
That draw at Newcastle and the red card suits us fine.
No shots on target until 57th minute in the DL v CP game, looking like a draw but a Palace goal would be a bonus.

Re: Tonight's Games
Zaha shows what an A-hole he is again. Stamps on Raphina’s ankle and then gets two attempts off before Leeds finally get it out of play.

Re: Tonight's Games
I watched the first half at Newcastle then straight over to the first half at Leeds. At half time back to Newcastle and then back to Leeds. So far I’ve seen one red card and one goal but missed the pen.

After seeing the replay, Reckon Zaha was a bit naughty there!

Accident I would say but the way we slow everything down & critique it, perhaps lucky to have got away with it.Buxtonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:36 pmThat's what I meant with the ouch post up the thread.

Re: Tonight's Games
Ideal result for us, we didn't want Newcastle taking momentum into the weekend with their 1st win, and Norwich well improving will still be in the mix all season.
