Bring Forward Burnley v Liverpool to Boxing Day
Any reason we couldn’t play Liverpool on Boxing Day instead of the 13th Feb? Both clubs fit to play, could free up a Saturday for other fixtures to be slotted in.

It would be up to Klopp to decide what happens...

It'd be worth it just to see Klopp have one of his tantrums.

Scheduling a game at two days’ notice would be tremendously anti-away fans.

Why couldnt we have played Liverpool today?
We have an outstanding fixture against them, both games cancelled days in advance.
Would have helped both clubs?

Re: Why couldnt we have played Liverpool today?
Many reasons not least that match is a huge logistical operation, with police, staffing and ticketing to organise. Then on the playing side a lot goes in to preparing for each team, so it’d be far from ideal making that change so late in the day.steve1264b wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 2:00 pmWe have an outstanding fixture against them, both games cancelled days in advance.

It could have been a closed doors game, although annoying for fans would have dealt with most of the logistical issues.
