The same super computer that put us down for relegation every single season and gets it wrong

Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
I think I would need a week off work to recover after the celebrations. Come on Burnley, lets get it on!
Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
I would imagine this will get buried amongst the relentless misery mood music prevalent on here in the last 2 days, a colossal relegation feeding frenzy in a race to the bottom with prolific posters repeating themselves ad nauseum and boring me senseless along with the obvious trolls and attention seekers.
Let's hope this comes to pass and actions start to talk louder than words, can't wait to see Cornet in tandem with Weghorst, we still have a real chance though reading this board you would think it's game over already.

4 point margin. Easy peasy really.
Everybody relax and start suggesting internations we might want to sign in the summer to push for Europe.

Have we flirted with relegation throughout our time in the PL?

Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
Well, we have been relegated twice, however, our average position over the last five seasons is 13th because we finished in 7th and 10th but also in 15th ,16th and 17th. I suppose that we have flirted on three occasions.Burnley Ace wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 10:01 pmHave we flirted with relegation throughout our time in the PL?

We could finish in the top 4 and the media would assume we're in a relegation fight every year.

Even on those occasions we were “safe” with a few games to spare. The impression is that we are constantly in the bottom 3 and manage to save ourselves on the last day!!Ashingtonclaret46 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 10:29 pmWell, we have been relegated twice, however, our average position over the last five seasons is 13th because we finished in 7th and 10th but also in 15th ,16th and 17th. Perhaps Jakob will explain the psychological effect that has on other team’s perception that we are always successful in a relegation battle!!

Best to ignore the poundshop psychologist on any given subject. He's just an empty vessel.Burnley Ace wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 8:24 amPerhaps Jakob will explain the psychological effect that has on other team’s perception that we are always successful in a relegation battle!!

That “notsosupercomputer” had Everton to finish on 40 points which isn’t going to happen. Some really big differences in just 8 weeks to those predictions, but I’ll take 17th for us.

Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
I think we all would. I'm on the verge of dreaming about a 17th place finish, along with rebuilding plans for next season's EPL campaign. Not only that, but I've had enough of pessimism, in all aspects of life, and I'll take optimism wherever I find it and for as long as it lasts. Positive vibes.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 8:46 amSome really big differences in just 8 weeks to those predictions, but I’ll take 17th for us.

Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
The same "super computer" correctly predicted the following occurances, so it's got form:
* Correctly predicted Will Smith's Oscar slap three weeks in advance
* Correctly predicted the outcome of Ed Sheeran's copyright courtcase
The supercomputer has also announced it knows the winners names of the next FIVE celebrity TV contest programmes (I'm a Celeb, Celebrity Mastercherf etc) but refuses to tell us on ethical grounds.
Make of this what you will, but it's clearly not to be taken lightly.
Isn't it fantastic to be living in the future in the age of the super computer?

I wonder if it could tell me what this weeks winning lottery numbers will be?Rowls wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 9:38 amThe same "super computer" correctly predicted the following occurances, so it's got form:

Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
So they are predicting Newcastle losing their last 8 games? Bit strange
Also from this calculation, if Newcastle lose 7 on the trot, they will still stay up if they beat us on the final day

Re: Super Computer has us safe - just !
I think both us and Everton will get 34 points with us staying up on goal difference.
