Tonight's footie 8/3

Post by tiger76 » Tue Mar 08, 2022 8:47 pm

Rovers 0-0 at HT, but Bournemouth losing again, Luton & Sheff Utd poised to gain ground as it stands.

Sunderland losing at home again, the wheels really have fallen off on Wearside haven't they.

Duffer's Cheltenham 2-0 down at MK Dons.

Morecambe winning at Bolton, could be a vital 3 points in their relegation fight.

Joey's Bristol Rovers also 1-0 to the good at Crawley.

Lewandowski with a 1st half HT for Bayern, this guy is a goal machine, Bayern & Liverpool easing through in the CL.

Looks like only me and you interested Tiger. Bad night fir Rovers. Play offs out of their hands now. Terrible red card at Anfield that spoilt a really good game

Millwall did not have a single effort at goal. No shots on target nor off. And they still leave Ewood with a share of the spoils.

Astonishingly Rovers have only scored 3 goals in their last 11 games, yet have managed to get 12 points from those games.

3 1-0 wins , and 3 0-0 draws

Sadly they have another 2 home games up next against 2 poor sides in Bristol C and Derby, before a trip to Reading.

They look to have the best run in of all the playoff chasing sides, they only play 1 of the top 10 in their remaining 10 games, and that's at home to Bournemouth.

It's all about momentum at this stage of the season - on the three occasions we got promoted to the Premier League we hit form at the right time.

3 goals and 12 points from 11 games doesn't exactly look like promotion form to me, even if they do have an easier run-in.

Fulham are home and dry in that league, as for the 2nd auto, you'd stay think Bournemouth should be fine, but their form is erratic, and the chasing pack is closing notably Huddersfield who are the form team in the division.

Rovers should still get a PO place unfortunately, but their slump has been dramatic even by their usual standards, and it would be hilarious if they missed out entirely, especially if we stayed up.

No Diaz=no goals it would seem.
