Good result,
Shame our manager will not give youth a chance.

Yeah, if you’re beating Accrington Stanley u23 you must be ready to slot in against Man Citywinsomeyen wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 9:10 amGood result,

Another good output from Costelloe at striker with a hand in all 3 (assist, win the penalty, goal). Wonder if he's next in line for some matchday squad experience. Seems much more suited to that role in our team than his initial one as a winger.

Maybe he is more suited but he’s also been looking a much better player out wide too. I think it’s more that he’s just improving.

He's one that's working with Stephen Ireland in his own time isn't he? Good to see that extra effort is paying off for him. Obviously not talking down the work he's doing in the club.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 11:36 amMaybe he is more suited but he’s also been looking a much better player out wide too. I’ve no idea who he’s working with other than Michael Jackson & Andy Farrell.

Ireland added: “I have a boy at Burnley called Dara Costelloe. He played in Galway, he’s from Limerick and he’s a very talented boy.
“He’s the size of Ronaldo and the fastest thing I’ve ever seen. He has all the right attributes. He just needed a bit of guidance on the football side of things.

What has happened to the young boy from Bolton with the famous uncle, Le Fondre ?
Re: ARTICLE: Clarets through to Lancs final after win at Accrington
He was signed for the U18s, think he's 17 now so wouldn't expect him to be pushing for the U23 side until next season at the earliest unless he's really outstanding.9thMay1987 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 12:53 pmWhat has happened to the young boy from Bolton with the famous uncle, Le Fondre ?
Also hasn't been in the recent U18 squads so is probably injured.
