Is 25/1 to be relegated too big ??
Is 25/1 to be relegated too big ??
Paddy Power 25/1 for us to be relegated looks too big - think that price would be fine before 90% of our best players were sold. Top that with Westy and Vid out long term - think it should be 12-14/1 - this championship gets tight either end of table.

I think you may be in for a surprise. It’s not the extremely tough division the media would have you believe these days.

Interestingly, we are favourites against Huddersfield tomorrow, fairly comfortably. That game could be absolutely anything.

This year’s championship is very open no outstanding teams for me had a cheeky £10 bet on the clarets 14/1 to win it utc

Watford are 66/1 and Norwich are 100/1 and we finished above both !!!!

Put your money where your mouth is and lump on if you think it's too big.

Doubt we'll get relegated, but equally I'm struggling to see us making a sustained promotion push, unless we get another 2-3 quality additions through the door.
Upper mid-table with an outside shot at the play-offs is my best guess, but in all honesty there's far too many unknowns to predict confidently how we'll fare.

Huddersfield finished 3rd last season having been priced up at 66/1 to win the Championship.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 7:54 pmInterestingly, we are favourites against Huddersfield tomorrow, fairly comfortably. That game could be absolutely anything.
Having lost their manager followed by an exodus of players they are now priced up at just 5/1 by PP for relegation.

Think it’s a price ripe for a trade during the season. I have therefore backed it accordingly.

I knew they’d lost a lot of the squad that got them to the play off final, along with their manager. Didn’t quite realise they’d fallen that far though.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 8:23 pmHuddersfield finished 3rd last season having been priced up at 66/1 to win the Championship.

I’ve put 10k on 25/1, will sink to odds on id imagine once Pace has finished selling the entire squad and we’ve got to play the ladies team. Kompany is just here as a gimmick for now and it seems Steve Stone will be hired when Garlick has to retake the reigns. Sounds like Stone was a Garlick appointment to keep Dyche in check. Where did I find out all of this? I peaked over the wall at the Royal Dyche yesterday, no wonder some posters couldn’t repeat what the private session was about.

Despite the massive downgrade in playing staff, we're still probably around mid table.
The 25/1 needs a poor start and some kind of mild implosion in mid season....
Not beyond the bounds of imagination.. 25/1 is decent.

How do you know there’s been a massive downgrade in playing staff, you’ve not seen them kick a ball yet?All those world beating players got us relegated last season don’t forget!
