Well, it was obvious immediately they started that neither of the two you mention were actually footballers.
Cut the negativity, we've had a great day...enjoy it.
huh? that comment you quoted wasn't from today.

I can see Bastien and Brownhill being utilised as a pair in front on a single pivot eventually

I think he's excellent. He has an excellent first touch too

I like him to be honest. Has struggled at times but I think he looks like a decent player in this division.

Can't deny his impact from the bench, and Vinny has a tough dilemma over who to select for Tuesday, mind you that's a nice dilemma for him to have.
Way, way better than last season when SD often had no choices apart from, "Can one of my strikers be made fit enough to start?", and, "Which young kids can I reasonably scrounge to keep the bench looking full and the seats warm and dry?"

Ah yes, last sunday.

But to be fair, their respective managers didn't take long to hook them ;)

Indeed and with the 5 subs rule, having depth in the squad, and guys who can make things happen late in games could prove important as the season wears on, we'd have probably won today anyway, but there will be tighter games where our subs could prove the difference between winning or not.

He’s scored today so I think he’ll be popular tonight.

One of the players you really hope will come off but you don’t know

Scored and assisted, and if he can offer goals and assists he'll do for me.

Given we paid less than a million for him he looks a potential bargain, and don't forget he also bagged the winner at Shrewsbury.
