Minute 4 to minute 8 is just wild if you just want a taster of the whole ride.

I'd love a go in an Apache. Hover above the car park at Ewood and strafe it with the 30mm guns

On reflection and thinking about the OP ...
I would rather be sat in the seat Alex Jones had on Fridays "One Show" and sit in the 1940's Hurricane (converted to a 2 seater) and have a 20 minute flight over Duxford and have the chance of taking the controls for a few minutes ... now thats flying in a plane thats got history

It's certainly in there along with the Spitfire Mk1, Sunderland Flying Boat, Mosquito, Hawker Typhoon and Vulcan for me.Bosscat wrote: βSat Sep 03, 2022 8:33 pmOn reflection and thinking about the OP ...

The one I'd have loved 'a do in' is the English Electric Lightning.Bosscat wrote: βSat Sep 03, 2022 8:33 pmOn reflection and thinking about the OP ...

It had the spectacular initial climb rate of 50,000ft/ min with afterburners on and could reach 36,000ft in 2.5 minutes!
Used to send shivers down my back every time I saw one take off, especially at air shows where the pilot always gave it 'full welly'.

shows how incredibly fit these pilots are, the folks in the back always trying hard to stay awake and those up front on the radio like they are sitting next to their mate in a cafe.

I was the first ever paying passenger in the Hurricane when it was based at Biggin Hill.Bosscat wrote: βSat Sep 03, 2022 8:33 pmOn reflection and thinking about the OP ...
