Ideal time to pot a manager as well with the long break pending.

Excellent striker. Would be surprised if a PL doesn’t come in for him. My ideal signing *if* we go up.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:42 pmForm team Coventry 2-0 against QPR - brace for the soon to be in demand Gyokeres.

Can see him at Everton. They need something up front.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:45 pmDitto, he looks the real deal. Wouldn’t be surprised if lower PL teams looked at him in Jan though.

Sheffield Utd running away with the league again after their short break.

A win tomorrow would put us in a fantastic position prior to the break

Away supporters giving plenty of verbals to their manager and players at the Vitality

Our Summer target O'Hare of Coventry, since returning recently from injury, has been very involved in assisted goals.Maybe both today, and in the last Championship game too
Re: Today's footie 12/11
Varying fortunes for our three lately departed CB's. Ben Mee must be far the happiest.

Amazing what a good player Joelinton looks now he's playing in midfield. Reminds me when Liverpool moved Ray Kennedy from an out and out striker to left side midfield.

More impressed by the job Eddie Howe is doing by the game. Seriously impressive today.
Re: Today's footie 12/11
Newcastle been the better side in this game against Chelsea.
They just look a top side these days. Pace, power, height, strength, technique on the ball, defensive solidity.
What a job Eddie Howe has done.

Agree - Howe has done a brilliant job so far and they look a proper side. Good to see him doing well.

Doubt the Chelsea manager will be there this time next year, he didn't exactly achieve much at Brighton.

Re: Today's footie 12/11
Are Newcastle now considered genuine title contenders, only 2 points behind City, and presently 4 points shy of Arsenal.
Plus they have the power to add to their squad in January, still think City will pull clear eventually, but the longer the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs hang in there the more interesting it becomes.
3 defeats on the spin for Chelsea, 4 if you include the LC reverse at City, and only 1 PL win in 6, tough introduction to life at a big fish for Potter.

Re: Today's footie 12/11
Tough Premier League this season - Wolves looking like a mid-table side against Arsenal doing well, but a quick glance at the table has them bottom.
I wonder how we'd be doing had we managed to stay up.
