It's derby Eve....
Just like a kid on Christmas Eve, I woke up buzzing this morning knowing it's one more sleep. Showed my girlfriend Scotty Arfield goal for the third time. Watched the Kevin Ball tackle on repeat for 10 mins. Ironed my replica kit. Got the fry stuff ready for a few neutral fans who are coming round to watch it as I'm out of the country to attend in person. And the cricket final on beforehand. I absolutely cannot wait for it all.
Not gonna be easy and they say form goes out of the window but.....3-1 Burnley (after going down early again from a Diaz goal). Tella, JRod and then Zaroury 90+2 to put the icing on the cake
How and what are we all feeling tonight folks?

We'll come through loud and clear on the tele I'm sure. Make it formidable.
Do they have any local players in their squad? Jay and Ash will make the lads know just what this means I'm sure.

Did I misread that, or did you show your girlfriend Kevin Ball's tackle?criminalclaret wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 7:58 pmJust like a kid on Christmas Eve, I woke up buzzing this morning knowing it's one more sleep. Don't really know what to do with myself. Did a bit of cleaning earlier, which is unheard of on a Saturday! Trying to relax with a few beers now but it's not easy.

That Kevin ball tackle. Truly a thing of beauty.
Must have been some power in it to spin that fat ******* like he did. Good job he was so fat and heavy or he’d still be spinning now.

If we were languishing down the bottom and they were top, then yeah I'd be thinking the same. But both of us being top 2, with potential to win and go top for the next 5 weeks, as well as bragging rights. Not been a derby like this for a while.
Bring it on

He did a EFL video with Duff taking about derby day - https://youtu.be/cJ3sK_3ho4k - he said the Kevin Ball tackle didn't hurt Fairness to him he sat on the fence with regards to a scoreline, calling it a score draw.
Re: It's derby Eve....
Buzzing. Nervous.
Had a Rovers fan in work today. Tried to charge him double.

Visited my gym yesterday in Blackburn and I saw a thing of beauty a young fella wearing a Burnley shirt and not a ******* shirt in sight. Confirms that the good folk of Blackburn are now turning Dingle.
Can you imagine wearing a ******* shirt in a Burnley gym derby weekend, he would have got a dumbbell rammed down his throat. Most of Blackburn support either United, Liverpool or Burnley

This has to be the best ever backdrop to the derby in living memory (for the majority of fans)
Both clubs going well so much at steak and a month to mull over the result
Looking forward to it because I fully expect us to understand the importance of and rise to the occasion
What a great way to round off the domestic calendar ahead of the WC

The lad who runs out football on a Thursday a Blackburn fan, wears his shirt and takes the grief, but he’s a really nice lad.Top Claret wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 8:55 pmVisited my gym yesterday in Blackburn and I saw a thing of beauty a young fella wearing a Burnley shirt and not a ******* shirt in sight. Some young lad wore one on Thursday, took some grief but then took his shirt off celebrating when he scored, almost got filled in after the game, I actually thought, fair play to him, was quite funny!

Lots of Rovers fans heading for Cheltenham on Sunday ,rather look at a horses backside than their keepers picking the ball out of the net .

Re: It's derby Eve....
Drove up earlier from Cambridge with two of my sons, and a mate who is a Spurs fan.
Burnley are his second team.
Had a half decent meal, at queen vic, now I’m back at B & B.
Aged 50 now, used to big games over years.
I’m nervous but in a good way, I honestly believe regardless of result tomorrow, we have a young exciting team.
Hopefully a good game, banter, **** takes
(No JW songs. They have a horrid chant I’m told. I won’t mention out of respect for his family)
I just hope not marred by violence on terraces
