Lino
Sat in the BL last night
Some muppet was berating the "lino" all the way through, can I remind him that they are now called Assistant Referees and that their duties are covered by Law 6: The Other Match Officials - I actually think the "lino" had a good game his decisions were overridden by the ref.
Can we also clarify that under law 11 a player can be judged offside when a teammate touches the ball, and you can't be offside from a throw in.
Good match last night, consistent referee

Re: Lino
Seems a bit perverse to criticise someone for using an unofficial name for the man (or woman) on the line, while yourself using an unofficial name for the man in the middle. He isn't called "ref".

Why didn't you tell him/her - this muppet?brexit wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 9:43 amSat in the BL last night

Re: Lino
He could have advised the referee about Hannibals assault on Benson. A clear second yellow and the AR had the better view. The referee was looking through the assailant and would have no idea how bad it was.

Have to put up with him every game and whilst everyone mimics and makes fun of him, he just carries on
