Today's Football
Chelsea v Palace itll be more pressure on Potter if the Blues don't prevail in this one.
Toon v Fulham should be a good un this.
Then the big North London Derby, i fancy the Gunners.

Re: Today's Football
Fulham looking alot stronger defensively than in previous PL seasons. Also not afraid to take the game to Newcastle.
Re: Today's Football
Rob Jones must be the most arrogant ref going, marches up,and down like he’s a member of the gestapo.

Not seen that for a while. Bizarre.
Re: Today's Football
Mitro, as good as he’s been, has now missed 3 pens this season already!

Re: Today's Football
Does anyone know if the ref hadn’t spotted the 2 touches on the penalty and given the goal, whether VAR could have reviewed it?

Re: Today's Football
On at least two occasions Newcastle guilty of clear dives. Is there no such thing as retrospective punishment these days?

Re: Today's Football
Did that not come off Wilson’s arm?
Re: Today's Football
Deserved win. Complete energy around the stadium now almost dragging goals into the net. Like us.

Re: Today's Football
Think this would mean 11 clean sheets from Newcastle and Pope and more than any other PL team. Newcastle fans must be delighted with Pope and what they paid for him. Howe has done a brilliant job there so far there.
Re: Today's Football
Pope and Trippier been doing a brilliant job in my FPL too
Re: Today's Football
And that's what I like about Pope. No messing. Ball comes anywhere near him and it's cleared without fuss.
Re: Today's Football
Think they showed that he has the best save stats in the PL this season too.

Be weird seeing Pope in a Newcastle strip at the Turf next season. ( fingers crossed )

Another Lloris error. What a poor goalkeeper he is.

Lloris strikes again...
Re: Today's Football
takes a little nick of the defender to deflect it, bit unlucky but he's definitely on the wain

Re: Today's Football
he's absolute turd and has been for years, makes some quality saves occasionally but makes so many errors - another club that should have gone for Pope

Re: Today's Football
Deflection or not, it was poor keeping and yes, they should probably have gone for Pope.
Re: Today's Football
It was poor keeping. He's capable of some excellent things but he's far too inconsistent for the highest level.

Re: Today's Football
As an aside I’d say Martin Tyler is a worse commentator than Hugo Lloris is a goalkeeper.

Re: Today's Football
The for Kane to ship out of this joke of a club. He’s too good for this lot and 30 this year, needs one last hurrah at a club he might win something with.

Re: Today's Football
Another aside: a player preventing a quick free kick by standing in front of the ball should get an automatic booking. Never happens.
