Parking at Norwich

Post by Somethingfishy » Tue Jan 24, 2023 12:44 pm

I have looked on Yourparkingspace and the only available are quite some distance or in the centre. Anyone know of anywhere a bit closer from experience?

Lower Clarence Road for match day I’d say. Failing that there’s a few park and rides.

I’ve used the County Hall car park previously. I don’t remember it being a hassle to get away afterwards. Probably a 10-15 min walk from the ground?

Edit - or Thickthorn park and ride at the A11/A47 junction. I think (need to check) that it drops you off near the castle which is then a short walk to CR.

It's a while ago, but I think it was £5 in the railway station.
About 10 mins walk with loads of bars (including spoons) in between.

Not sure, someone else is driving us there, I could always ask him.

What time do you think you'll land there?

We park on the premier inn car park, duke street, beer in the pub attached to the inn, then it’s a short walk to the ground.

Another vote for County Hall car park.
10 minute walk to the ground and less than a mile from the A47 for a quick getaway after the match.

Parked at County Hall car park last season, great, apart from bottle neck exiting car park after game. Absolute nightmare, fortunately we had taken some pies and sandwiches so stayed put and had some scran.

County Hall is a good shout. Depends on what you want from the day. If you want to go straight home after the match then County Hall is close to the A47. Thickthorn park and ride drops at the main bus station. You also could park in Easton and jump on the excel bus.

There’s an industrial estate near the roundabout as you enter the town. About a 10-15 Min walk but worth it as you get away easier too

How many tickets have we sold for this game just out of interest?

Very impressive considering it's the second visit to this area in a week, the early kick off and the fact it's on sky.

Hope the boys do it for the fantastic support..

Parked on a car park at Rouen Road last time, pleasant 5/10 minute stroll to ground over the river. Lovely place. Got away quickly too. Just the football was absolute s***e.
