Re: 2022/23: Burnley v Ipswich Town – Cup Ticket Information
We don’t do away games so rarely by tickets on line, I did manage to work it out yesterday for Ipswich and claim our season ticket seats, the email receipt showed a box, the seat details on the right and smart upload on the left. I assumed my season ticket card had been updated, however, I’ve just been informed I’d selected them by post, presumably there must have been a tick box but I missed seeing it, thought I’d just mention it to others in case they prefer the smart card method.

It's a bit confusing...just claimed mine and my brother's ST seats online and received a confirmatory email showing these as being purchased as "Smartcard upload" . I take it this means we just need to take our normal ST plastic cards along and they will work on the night.
It's just confusing that the email goes on to state "The QR Codes included in this email are your tickets to enter Turf Moor. These should be presented at the turnstiles on arrival" (there aren't any QR codes in the email).

Think it’s similar to when we played Lincoln still no communication off the club about it read on here that you had to go down to get your seat mines block 7 said we have to put you in block 8 as it’s not available .
Re: 2022/23: Burnley v Ipswich Town – Cup Ticket Information
Only limited availability and not able to secure your own season ticket seat. I was able to get a seat in there but a different seat due to my seat not being availableVince Fontaine wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 5:48 pmOk cheers bumba. I’ll pop down tomorrow and get ours

The original information from the Club is contradictory, in that whilst it states that ST holders have until 5pm today to claim their own seats, it then goes on to say that unclaimed ST holders seats will be released at 12 noon today.
Availability
Season Ticket Holders (to purchase own seats)
Tue 31st Jan at 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Thu 2nd Feb
Non-Season Ticket Holders
Tue 31st Jan at 1 p.m.
Please note: This will include all unclaimed season ticket holder seats once they are released for general sale at noon on Thu 2nd Feb

Re: 2022/23: Burnley v Ipswich Town – Cup Ticket Information
Exactly my thoughts regarding ST holders being given time but my block isn't available so they just give me two elsewhere in the Fishwick but they tell us it's sold out in there so shouldn't be tickets available. I can only assume there doing 1st come 1st served in thereLeisure wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 3:54 pmThe original information from the Club is contradictory, in that whilst it states that ST holders have until 5pm today to claim their own seats, it then goes on to say that unclaimed ST holders seats will be released at 12 noon today.

I've asked for some clarification as to just what the arrangements are in the CF, as I can't find anything on the Club website.
Re: 2022/23: Burnley v Ipswich Town – Cup Ticket Information
The reason that the usual home section of the CF isn't fully available is that we have to make available to Ipswich 15% of our capacity ie around 3000.

A simple e-mail is all it would have taken. An explanation to those of us affected. Quite honestly I feel let down (again) by the club. If we win against Ipswich I would like them to tell us in advance and have a better option than not telling us. God forbid they offer us some nice seats eh!
Perhaps it’s because we’re seen as “troublemakers” in that section? Is that why they don’t care about us. I’m guessing they don’t want to be seen to assist the “sc um” of the Fan base eh…

Whatever. Just not happy that I can’t sit in the seat I pay for, as I’m sure you would be if you were affected. I like my seat, I personally don’t like sitting anywhere else. It’s what makes the matchday experience for me, sitting amongst friends and enjoying the fantastic view from my seat.fatboy47 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 9:17 pmJaysus!!

Re: 2022/23: Burnley v Ipswich Town – Cup Ticket Information
I think the majority had an idea about the extra away allocation but why can't the club communicate this when it involves ST holders seats.
I've managed to move my two seats in there so presume I've taken another ST holders seats which if it was the other way round I'd be fuming if I then went down before the deadline set.
It should be communicated clearly with the options added for the ST holders involved. To be honest the ST should be sold with it made very clear before purchase that if we get a home draw in the FA cup we would have to relocate, it's really not difficult.

You haven’t paid for it for Cup games. I’m sure it will be in the small print somewhere that your seat isn’t guaranteed for Cup games. Most people are aware that there are different rules for away allocations.Zlatan wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 10:03 pmWhatever. I don't think Ipswich are getting extra tickets. Judging by their seating plan sales they haven't sold that many. Understandable for a midweek game like.
I think it's just to maximise the barrier between fans which means less stewards to pay for.

Because of the lack of respect in not informing us our normal seat is not available and that I've only found this out whilst trying pick my season ticket seat and finding this option not available online along with no email or announcement I'm that ****** off I've decided to give this game a miss, like Zlatan I don't want to sit in another stand or with people I don't know, I doubt the club will miss my x3 £15 ticket money or the average £20 I spend in the ground, the £65 the club is losing is nothing and they way this has been handled makes me feel the same way like a nothing with the lack of contact from the clubZlatan wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 8:56 pmA simple e-mail is all it would have taken. No, according to the TO it's because we have to give them 3000 (which they won't sell!).Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 7:24 amI don't think Ipswich are getting extra tickets. Judging by their seating plan sales they haven't sold that many. Understandable for a midweek game like.

That theory will certainly be tested if we play Sheff Wed in the next round. They will certainly sell out.

They should get the full allocation too. If the boot is one the other foot and we got to the quarter final all our fans would be demanding we get the full allocation if we were drawn away.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 9:22 amThat theory will certainly be tested if we play Sheff Wed in the next round. They will only have a following of 1000, so we could have used the whole of the home section of the CF.

If the stadium map is accurate it would appear not that many.
What’s wrong with everyone? With our lead in the league we can afford to give the Cup a real go. We’ve got two League 1 clubs to overcome and we’re in the quarter final - one win from Wembley.
Even if you’re one of those fans who can’t get excited by the Cup, surely £15 to watch our team at the moment is a steal???

Does that mean he uses his ST and the others use the QR code?
