Super Bowl LVII

Post by Milltown1882 » Sun Feb 12, 2023 7:01 pm

11.30 start tonight for the big one. Will the Eagles or the Chiefs be taking it home tonight?

I’m going for Eagles by 7.

Should be a great one. Getting too old for 3am finishes. I’ll watch it in the am.

Just been for a walk around the neighborhood here in Philly, it's already noisy with fans arriving, gathering, setting off for wherever they are going to be watching the game. Had my Burnley hat on as usual :) Think the Eagles will shade it.

Me too. 😀
Going to go for the Eagles, just because of the defence. Both top quality though, could go either way.

I'm going KC due to the more experience in them. Kelce on fire

How is Mahones' injury? If he's 100%, I'm going with Kansas.

A lot depends on Mahone and any injury he's got

If he's fit and firing then I think he'll take them all the way.

Double team Kelce on third downs and I’ll take Eagles to sneak it.

I’m hosting a party. It’s all ready. Vegan and gluten free chili, vegan and gluten free garlic flatbread, vegan and gluten free battered fries, roasted corn on the cob, various dips and crudités. Wife says the chili is delicious…. She’s the gluten free one. The other six coming are all vegans. I just tasted the chilli too…… all I can say is fuck8ng vegans

Try making gluten and vegan garlic bread! It’s an utter travesty. If the food police came knocking I’d welcome them in

You should have some brisket and wings just for yourself.

See how the others look on in envy!

Don’t want to see the Eagles win this. Will hope Mahomes ankle has significantly recovered. Hope there’s points galore

I fear it'll be a tight, low-scoring game; the best two teams statistically are naturally gonna be close.

You mean Temple? Hope you're both backing the Eagles tonight then.... as Hurts runs it in!! I've always been a Saints fan since I first visited New Orleans in 78, son was an Eagles fan though even before he moved here and we followed .

That’s ridiculous to take so long to make a call on whether there has been a “clear and obvious error” - by definition therefore it’s not a clear and obvious error!! It’s as bad as VAR

Deserved lead for Eagles. Despite the fumble, Hurts hasn't done a thing wrong, very impressive. KC & Mahomes need to move up a gear.

Great second half from KC, with Eagles slightly off compared to first. Pacheco superb and Mahones with an injury led them brilliantly.
Eagles can feel unfortunate, not sure what else they could've done. KC hung in there and showed their class at the end.

Not really, if that gets blown in the first quarter no one cares - facts of the matter is you can’t hold a receiver after getting wrong footed.

James Bradberry even said he held Juju 🤷‍♂️

Pacheco went under the radar. His yards after contact played a massive part in keeping the Chiefs moving.
Chiefs defence stepped up second half.
Great end to the season. Can’t wait until September.
