I wonder what happened to the Carling can.
Re: Gone But Not Forgotten
Eeeee Nostalgia innit brilliant ... mind you always went in the ones 1/2 way up the steps (by the food kiosk) before going on the Longside (to our usual spot) to avoid needing to use the wonderful facilities out back (in the picture) at 1/2 time
Re: Gone But Not Forgotten
Quite smart.
Re: Gone But Not Forgotten
And they were bad enough!
Re: Gone But Not Forgotten
The ones on the way up at the back of the Bee Hole were the ones I frequented more than these

Those were the days, remember on one occasion being shelled by stones being thrown from the away end whilst having a slash

I can remember paying a half time visit to the toilet at the back of the Bee Hole end and coming out with a ruined pair of new trainers.

Yep, whenever I think about the black hole bogs behind the Beehole that detective series the Pisswaders always comes to mind!

Re: Gone But Not Forgotten
Think so. Had a school friend who had a Saturday job in the late 70s. Always complaining about the smell and those too impatient to queue.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 10:08 pmWasn’t there an almost open wall bog at side of burger van bottom of beehole steps as you entered ?

Thats right. Nothing quite like the smell of gallons of recycled lager as you queued for your half time meat and tatty pie.

Re: Gone But Not Forgotten
I remember the thick green slime in there that thrived on the frequent supply of urine.
