Mum

Post by wbfc » Wed Apr 26, 2023 9:49 pm

Unfortunately my mum died today ...she watched the game last night and died after a nice walk to the newsagent this morning...

Grandad watched BFC from 1946 until 2005 I am hoping they find each other in heaven...

I loved them both so much ...

Deepest condolences to yourself, friends and family. There is never a good time to lose a loved one. From your OP saying “after a nice walk” I’m guessing this has come as a shock.
My thoughts are with you.

wbfc, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Losing your mum was one of the worst days of my life. It will be 19 years ago next Tuesday but I will never forget her and I think about her every day, You will have so many wonderful memories and they will stay with you for ever and you'll think of them and smile.

She'll be able to tell your granddad how we won the title at Ewood too.

Sorry to hear this. Been though the same loss fairly recently. If you are very close there is no feeling like it. Time helps heal and you may have ups and downs along the way. It can help to try and be thankful for the love the good times you have had.

Please don't take this the wrong way but your post comes across as you are in total shock (completely understandable). It must be so hard for you right now.

wbfc, I think you can see, there's a lot of love and support on hear, almost certainly from people you don't know and are unlikely to ever meet. That shows the strength of this board, which sometimes we all forget.

I'm really sorry for you loss. Much love to you and your family at this time and may your mum rest in peace

Truly sorry for you, wbfc. I lost my step-mum, who was like a real mum to me, almost three years ago. My Dad went 22 years ago. It's beyond words.

I'm glad that your Mum left with a nice feeling about her club.

Take care, wbfc. Thoughts with you and all those who loved your Mum.

RIP
