…..has left a subliminal message on the London Underground. All the Londoners think it is something to do with platform safety, but we in East Lancashire know what he was really meaning!

Surprised this hasn’t had more of a mention on here. As soon as I heard his (mind the gap) comment I knew exactly what he meant. UTC

Amazing display of power. No other event would command that or the collection of state leaders in person. Like it or not you can't deny that.

The vast majority (myself included) will not have witnessed a Royal Coronation in their lifetime. I find it fascinating as to how they have tried to adapt and be more inclusive. I did smile when the commentator remarked “this is the first time that a Gospel Choir has been asked to sing at a Coronation”. Since Gospel Choirs did not really become prominent until the early 1960’s not really surprising. William the Conqueror would have got a shock in 1066.

I'd much rather we had things like a functioning NHS, or a rail network you could rely on.

That was the dullest thing ever. A load of old, bored people looking depressed, playing a ludicrous game of ‘dress up’.

Turn over turn off you don't have to watch it. I'm not a royalist but we are looking at an historical event that our country does very well.

Did he add that he's a claret? He is.

Apart from US and Real Madrid I just wonder if there are other teams out there in the world who have a monarchical support.

Can we stop this notion that he supports Burnley. He doesn't.

He said he looks out for our results, which is polite way of saying he's not interested in football
