As long as 4 or 5 years ago Pep showed the real worth of excellent full backs, and what they bring to the team in the modern , and acquired 4 over a short period costing £40- £50m each. Roberts is a real gem, capable of scoring and assisting more goals per season than some of our midfielders-as he has shown this season

I remember Mourinho mocking Pep for paying all that money for full backs. Im not convinced either full back will be comfortable playing our system in the premier league but Im confident Kompany will work out what’s required early doors.
I wasn’t a huge Robert’s fan at the beginning of the season but I think he’s really developed and looked brilliant this year.
Seems a great lad as well
