Really enjoy these podcasts and always on the look out for the next one.

It’s like being in the middle of several of your knowledgeable Burnley fan mates and discussing each match etc. Which is excellent for those of us that don’t live local any more and therefore able to reflect on other opinions on every match and the teams development.

Well done lads

No problem Forzagranata , it’s the least we can do . You are a great bunch and all so articulate, it’s pitched perfectly. Thank you again for what you do.

Good listen. I’ve listened to all episodes since it came out and look forward to the new releases. Keep up the good work!

Interesting that one of the guys name checked Tresor as one the better 3 or 4 players on Saturday. I’m sure there’s more to come from him and it was his first significant minutes but I thought he lacked energy, intensity and cohesion.

Enjoyable but too long. They really ramble on at times - shorten the length and get a good producer as they are not good at self editing.

New episode out now! We've got North East journo Ian Murtagh on to help us preview Newcastle United and look at Salford and a Dyche reunion.

Available in all the usual places and here - https://pod.link/1688380656

(We did have a couple of sound level issues so please be kind this week!)

Just listened to this week’s debrief and another enjoyable hour.

Felt like the guys got sucked into the trap of finding it hard to see how we will get to a survival target of, say, 38 points.

I have two problems with that.

One, this feels like a mega low survival season with so many good or improved sides (Spurs, Villa and in due course Chelsea). More bottom sides will get beat home and away. So I reckon 34 may be enough this year.

Two, if we have played 4 or 5 of what will be the top 6, that means other teams have harder games than us left. So it may be that us getting 9 wins and 9 draws is easier than Everton, Luton or Sheffield doing it. Everton have had a very easy start, and have messed a lot up.

So I’m a bit more positive, but a great listen nonetheless.

If they just edited out the "you knows" it would probably come in 25% shorter.

Defo need a “you know” box for a nominated local charity.

50p per “you know” and some poor kids somewhere in East Lancs could have a mega Christmas.

I’ve made this podcast a regular thing now too and from work whenever they come out. Varied opinions from the lads, some humour in there and not taken too seriously, whilst putting across decent debate and good points.

As a previous poster stated, it’s like listening to your mates have a chat about the game, you know😂.

Trying to work out which poster is who from your posts on this page without trawling back through , I think I’ve figured it out .

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the straight line running of Foster tomorrow

Two hour pod = potential 25km+ run

I’ll probably stick to 10-15 though 🫣🤣

Its not a two hour pod. We've been aiming for half a football match and achieved it with this episode.

You could sell some podcast t shirts with ‘yer know’ on the front and give the proceeds to a BFC related charity.

Another cracking episode. Getting even better each time.

Don’t think I’d ever really appreciated what a curmudgeon Chris Boden really is. The Chorley Statler. Getting picked up on Netherlands / Holland was a chuckle.

Ran to the Abbey! Good show. I sincerely hope that Maatsen is given a super reception. He stayed at Chelsea to play for Chelsea and he’s getting minutes. If he doesn’t sign a new deal, I’d welcome him here with open arms….but not for 30 million!

Not much!!! But justifiable…

You could argue bringing Cork, JBG, Redmond etc into the team might bring some much needed experience but Cork was a little too slow for the C’Ship last season and showed it again in pre-season when Cullen was missing.

Something has to give, though.

Be aware, there's lots of speculation but little actually known.

Can basically be summed up as £88m has appeared in one of the holding companies, we don't know why.

I really enjoyed it albeit some of the rationale stretches things a bit in my far from humble opinion.

Fundamentally, if you change the right side of your team on a whim against international class wingers and then replace your midfield anchor with a 20 year old who has 5 PL appearances and less than 20 in the Championship you are going to get lamped. Similarly, if you play a right back at Left back and a Centre mid at Left back against the likes of Son and Madison you are going to get lamped. I don't think there is much mystery to it.

On the issue of the £88 million my latest theory is that the club has acquired the rights to Ray Deakin's autobiography and have sold them to the highest bidder. You heard it here first....!
