Actually why reissuing them every 2 years is a bonkers decision. Maybe one for the Clarets Trust to raiseBig Vinny K wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 1:27 pmNo chance the club would use recorded delivery,
They prefer to leave things late, leave a number of fans in the lurch and do things right in the middle of the summer holidays.
It’s an absolute sh-it show of a club when it comes to things like this - embarrassing how amateurish they are

Re: New season ticket cards
At least with recorded you know where it is. If it’s lost, a new 1 can be reissued in time, instead of having to constantly chase them. It’s an amateur way of delivery. Even a basic Amazon delivery has tracking.

Mine has still not come, my Dad's did last week.
Getting a bit worried because I won't be here to claim it Thursday or Friday and was going to the game straight from work Friday too. If it doesn't come tomorrow or Wednesday I will be a bit stuck...

I still haven't had mine delivered yet - despite living only a 5 minute walk from the ticket office.

Re: New season ticket cards
Well my three have not arrived yet, had an Email from the Club last week saying they were in the post.
Re: New season ticket cards
It's the package where you give the post office a batch of post to be delivered within a certain timeframe. As long as they are delivered by a certain date it's up to the post office when they deliver them...lots of companies use the service
Re: New season ticket cards
Mine hasn't arrived but my son's has (same address and same direct debit).
Re: New season ticket cards
Just had a message from the last of our group who was waiting to receive, and all tickets now safe in everyones wallets

Remember when people kept saying “season doesn’t start for 3 weeks, relax”.

Re: New season ticket cards
There’s not really anything to worry about is there because the worst case scenario involve you having to pop into the ticket office before the game for a replacement match day ticket.CaptainKirk wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2023 7:50 pmRemember when people kept saying “season doesn’t start for 3 weeks, relax”.

Re: New season ticket cards
Still no season ticket for me - the one for the child of the previous owner came last week, but no joy with me!
Re: New season ticket cards
I hope not. Mine still hasn’t arrived and I can only get to the ground around 20 mins before kick off if I’m lucky on Friday. I’ll likely be queueing into kick off judging by what it’s usually like.

Re: New season ticket cards
Perhaps if you call the ticket office explaining the situation (if it doesn’t arrive beforehand) they will send you a digital ticket by email.
Re: New season ticket cards
Ring them, they'll issue via email....they've already said all this
Re: New season ticket cards
I can confirm that if you ring the ticket office and explain as I did that my grandson's season ticket hasn't arrived they will send a ticket for the City match via e-mail. Got through to them quickly too.

Mine finally arrived this morning. Colours look more like City than Burnley. Ominous.
Re: New season ticket cards
You'd have thought it wouldn't have been too difficult to post all the cards a week or so earlier.

Re: New season ticket cards
Just took the old sturdy claret and blue card out of the wallet and replaced it with the new flimsy City colours card. Guess the cards are thinner to save plastic but would have saved more by not replacing for a couple more years. Looked like loads of mileage still left on old one and it’s been used for virtually every home game since it was issued.

Re: New season ticket cards
I feel exactly the same. There’s no need for them to be replaced
It’s not as though they are being constantly being inserted into machines to be scanned so that the card is being worn out.
