We really have joined the 21st Century since AP took charge.
Re: Hudl - Football analysis at Burnley FC
How long before we have chips in players that either send messages to them or actually control them?

So when we are away at a team also using this, we need to find and cover their cameras somehow?

I mean, you know that this is kind of the stuff that they use, but its still fascinating
Its very championship manager and it shows just how far football has come in the stats field generally and us in particular

Re: Hudl - Football analysis at Burnley FC
I don't know what we used before last season but there was always an army of staff up at the back of the Longside analysing on a match day, usually the U21/23 coach would be there with them with direct access to the bench.

I am pretty sure Dyche used similar - certainly used video analysis systems. And under Garlick.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 5:56 amWe really have joined the 21st Century since AP took charge.
This is fairly standard at most clubs, including at levels well below the Premier League, and has been for years.

Re: Hudl - Football analysis at Burnley FC
This has been going on for years. The club employs lots of analysts, but the problem with videos is that the camera only follows the ball so you can’t see what’s happening off the ball in other areas of the field. So to be realistic you still need eyes on .ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 4:55 pmI don't know what we used before last season but there was always an army of staff up at the back of the Longside analysing on a match day, usually the U21/23 coach would be there with them with direct access to the bench.

There was a Lowton shirt hanging in the locker room scene so I think so too.
