Lucas Paqueta betting
Could be trouble ahead, being investigated.
"The investigation started from a bet on Lucas Paquetá's yellow card in West Ham's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, on March 12, in the Premier League.
The Brazilian took the yellow in the 24th minute of the second half.
Initial analysis showed that on that day several new accounts were created at Betway, account linked with people close to Paqueta, with users depositing the maximum amount allowed. These accounts made a married bet to increase the winnings: the authors would only receive the money if Paquetá took yellow against Villa and if the striker Luiz Henrique, from Betis, received the card against Villarreal, on the same day on March 12.
That'll probably kill his move to City

Re: Lucas Paqueta betting
It's strange and noteworthy that there's no good source for the specific allegations of spot fixing - all seems to stem from a West Ham fan account on Twitter. All we actually know is there's an investigation, which could be for a much lesser infraction like those Sturridge and Trippier were found guilty of.
The yellow card does look dodgy but these sorts of rumours went around about Granit Xhaka's yellow cards quite frequently with no charges ever brought.

Bet he's won a Paqueta with his bets.
Re: Lucas Paqueta betting
Big bets put on at sumilar times drove the odds down
Happens in a group im in when they tip a high price horse to run later at night at Saratoga
If someone had the inside info and its lumped on the odds drop instantly
Re: Lucas Paqueta betting
If true it’s big trouble for West Ham, at least when they were looking like selling him they’d have cash for a replacement. Now they’re looking like they’ll be without the player and the cash.

He had the commentators on Sky yesterday openly laughing at his utterly pathetic diving

The guy's a nutcase.
In retrospect, I thought he seemed hell bent on being booked yesterday.
Hadn't twigged until I read this post.
