Still can't believe Sky only showed one game last night, you'd think the sponsors would want as much interest as possible. Hopefully there will be more games shown in the next round.

Looking at the Sunday fixtures they’ll only be Exeter v Boro and Mansfield V Port Vale played on the Tuesday.

How many tickets do you get in the League Cup at Everton?

Is it just the normal away end?
Think it just depends on what Everton decide, it's not like the FA Cup where clubs have to offer more tickets.

They might move a TV game to Thursday if they can't show one on the Tuesday.

I think this will be the first time the two teams have met since Everton released Andros Townsend and we reneged on his contract offer. Could get spicy.

What occurred to me was that I could see the numbers in the bowl on TV - if they did want to “fix” it that wouldn’t be hard to do for them to have a screen showing the balls to those picking and being told what to pick.

That said, it would need an element of intelligence to pull that off and those two just didn’t have it…
yes, Neil (is that a six or a nine )Lennon. when he asked for it confirming, the dimwit from sky had no idea.

It is - that's how we got over 7,000 at Old Trafford last season. We are entitled to 10% which is around 1,000 more than for a league game there.

They do this every league cup draw, they always say it will be drawn at 10:15 but they waffle on for an extra 15 mins about nonsense. Sky love doing this type pf thing though, they will put the kick off time for an 20:00 game as 18:30 ad that is when their programme starts! I don‘t get it.
To make you watch extra commercials, of course!

I think we will take a good following to this.

More winnable than most, although Everton have picked up in last couple of weeks. Only 1 hour 15 away. Add in Dyche effect....

Neither ours or Everton’s Saturday games are on tv so would be easy enough to move to Sunday. Albeit very annoying.

Newcastle, Arsenal and United are all picked for TV on the Saturday.

Just a theory but we’ll see.

There're also plenty who if they went to Goodison wearing their Sean Dyche masks and t-shirts carrying cardboard cutouts, I would not be surprised.

:D There may be some who are mature enough to be grateful of the job he did for us, but I imagine the masks are trademarked by the disciples of Coyle.

We’re seeing what their capable of week in week out in the Premier League.

Not pointless at all, if you actually go to games. I find them a refreshing change to the PL, no VAR, no stress, new grounds, seeing fringe players, watching the Clarets win away.

There's a school near Goodison that opens up as a car park or side of the park where they park the coaches for Anfield.

You see, I can’t recall many, if any folk saying he’s a bad manager.

A tactically limited manager who did a good job with us but had ran his course yes, bad, no.

There are plenty that are mature enough to view his tenure in that manner.

When you see comments of, he is finished at this level, he coaches all the ability out of players, he is a dinosaur, not one premier league side will touch him they don't mean he is a bad manager just a bit limited.

If that is your take on it then fair enough.

Not sure we ask for anymore tickets, we have only sold the top tier out twice (3k) since being in the prem.

First time and when Garlick subsidised ticket prices.

Dyche at Everton is taking the cups serious, he knows the fan base would get on his back for fielding weakened teams in the cups

Tactically limited? Or smart enough to adapt his tactics to suit the players at his disposal to get the best out of them?

I think tactically limited. Seems to have his way of doing things and whilst it can be effective it can also be painful viewing.

I’d hoped that in uis time away from the game he’d have done what others have done and developed but it all seems to be same old same old so far.

Dyche could "develop" all he liked but he inherited one of the worst PL squads and is, indeed, making the best of a bad job, keeping Everton up last season against the odds.
