Huge win.

Awful performance but great character.

Delighted for Bruun Larsen.

An important three points but it does very little to ease the concerns people have from the games prior. We weren't good tonight. Needs a steep improvement.

Had to really dig in there. We all said that United and co will punish you if they get a chance, well tonight we did that. Well done lads, massive 3 points.

4 points out of 6 away from home in our "mini league", that's what it's all about..

That was a tough tough tough watch.

Delighted with the win and what a lovely finish from Larsen, but my good we looked like two poor teams tonight.

It’s not unfair to suggest there was a lack of quality from us in the game but **** me, that was a highly entertaining game of football to watch.

A positive that I took away from the game is that we stuck up for ourselves. Newcastle bullied us and I bemoaned the lack of fight and character. We certainly had that in spades tonight.

Don’t care about the performance the points were more important
Absolutely. Nobody will care about the style at the end of the season.

Good teams find ways to win. Poor teams find ways to lose. I think it is more like the latter at the moment but a couple of touches of class got our goals.

It was an ugly game there last season as well, they make it that way. To get the three points is fantastic. Winning away in the Premier League is a huge result.

This lot gave West Ham a game a few weeks ago. They are big brutes and try to bully you all over the pitch. We needed Cork on to slow it down as these young players aren't experienced enough to get their foot on the ball. They need help.

Big win, but the challenges from previous weeks remain, composure if we go ahead , pass choices poor when pressure is on. Finishing chances , going to be a long season

Nope, I honestly couldn’t care less about the performance tonight.

The only thing that matters was getting the points on the board. It’s a massive moment for us

It was 5 yards out. Muric would have put his foot on it and in a single motion, found Jay Rod for a one on one with the keeper.

What a relief but jeez I guess my expectations were a bit too high. I thought we could have controlled the game more given our style of play.

Maybe Luton deserve more respect after winning at Everton?

At times it felt like we fell into the trap at playing them at their own game. No idea why Ramsey came on when we were trying to defend a lead. I don't think he knows how to tackle.

Points in the bag and it's often the tough games like this that set you on a run.

How can anyone say its a scrapyard win. Not being funny, we played a different way and beat the next shittest team in the league. Do you think with injuries and yellow cards these so called challengers will stay up? Nor do I. People need so see what VK is doing in the long run... a squad not just for here and now. Thought we played their **** kind of football better than they did.

I noticed this. What’s the law in that situation? Drop-ball? If so, teams trying to kill time at Kenilworth (as we were, tbf) could be well-served by booting the ball onto the roof at any given opportunity.

Edit - provided the ref bothers to apply the laws of the game, of course.

We should be looking at signing Lutons set piece coach. He seems to have more idea than ours.
