Well worked set piece there
Re: Clarets v Chelsea Match Thread
Odobert's having a very decent game.
Re: Clarets v Chelsea Match Thread
We invite pressure. Chelsea were happy to let us play it out in the first half but we kept passing sideways and backwards so they started to press us.

He was outstanding first half. They've all been poor second halfburnleymik wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 4:13 pmNot impressed with Tresor at all. He just isn't working hard enough and gives the ball away too much.

Hopefully enzo, Gallagher or cucarella make a rash tackle and get a second booking to give us some hope.

Re: Clarets v Chelsea Match Thread
Several passes around the back line then needlessly passing to them. They aren't even pressing with that much intensity. This is very strange to watch. Suicide football and zero forward intent

Surely kolo plays on the left against the already booked cuceralla? Why no JBL? He’s looked decent every time

Defensively we are really struggling. Only Sterling has looked any good and he has torn us apart.

Playing like a different team second half and not in a good way.
Re: Clarets v Chelsea Match Thread
Hmmmm. I'm really not sure about us so far this season. It's the manner of the defeats. We're cut open, out of position and bullied a bit too easily. Yes, yes, we've had some difficult fixtures.
