it's the same people making the same comments every time we don't win. Nailed on some found fault last season that we only won the league at Ewood 1-0 and not 2-0. You just can't please some

In all honesty he couldn't have the slightest grumble of he was sacked in the morning.
Take away last season and it's been absolutely shocking, 5 losses 20 conceded at home it embarrassing

It seems to me Kompany has set targets this season, games he goes all out to win and games he alternates to give his squad players game time. It just so happens we’ve had a block of the latter so at the moment the picture of our season is distorted.

I presume you're the person who castigates Watford for leaving it too long before changing managers.

What is quite embarrassing is that you clearly can't read league tables, or can't remember our results, or can't add 3+3+5+1+4. Standards of education, eh.

That can be the only explanation for playing Vitinho over Roberts today. Really baffling.

Kompany should not be sacked. In fact I would happily extend his contract. He has a vision that matches the vision of our owners. He is already and will continue to be, a much coveted manager. Unfortunately too many people choose not to see the bigger picture, they only see the right now. Nothing anyone says or writes will help them see beyond the now.
Today I was disappointed, so I sort of understand the more negative posters wanting to add fuel to the fire.
When it comes right they will get back on board, but until then, they will happily tell us what Vinnie is doing wrong and how poor individual players are, how we are tactically inept and how Vinnie doesn't know what he is doing.
Guess I'll just have to put up with it and apart from this post I'll choose to not get involved with pleas with them to get behind Vinnie and all the players.

He has a vision nobody is doubting .:: but in the same way religious people explain Gods presence as he works in mysterious ways when disaster strikes his vision will be short lived as a premier league manager if we are bottom

“Take away last season”
Why would you remove the most enjoyable and successful season we have seen in many a year from the decision ?
Dyche would have been sacked in October nearly every season !!

It's pretty embarrassing how quickly fans can go from praising kompany like he's a messiah, to wondering whether he should go. Less than 10 games into the season no less. I'll add boring to embarrassing actually, one or two performances and results and they'll all change their tune again

These reactions are a sad reflection of the wider society that we live in now. Shiny new toy (last season’s promotion group) doesn’t now work. Let’s get a new one instead of trying to fix it. Our throw away society!

I do find it funny though, under Dyche we literally used to take the **** out of teams and managers that played like us. We used to say won’t be long until they are sacked. But now it’s our manager we can’t possibly dream of it.

VK has got to turn the performances around. Losing at home by 3-4 goals every week is a quick way to lose the fans. The next three games are the time for these conversations not now.

Lose them and there’s probably a discussion to be had. However win them and things are rosey.

It means judge this season for this season. If he was a new manager who'd come in the summer what would your thoughts be? What he did in the championship is irrelevant to what he can do in the prem

Hopefully for the majority of fans with a bit of common sense judging a manager based on a few weeks and ignoring everything else you know about him from the previous 18 months or so is not something our owners would contemplate doing.

And if what a manager had done in another division whether what be the championship or any other league was as irrelevant as you say then most of the managers in the Premier League would not have been appointed.

Wait a bit longer bumba and have a bit more trust in him. At least until the forthcoming fixtures have been completed. These will tell us a lot whether he is taking the team in the right direction or not

If the first fixtures played had of been interspersed between the more easier games we would without doubt be a lot further up the table. Kompany will be as shocked as we are after that,he has the power unlike us to change it, I'm convinced he will.

What VK probably should aim for is a settled defence. I think we haven't played the same defence twice. He is tactically not completely there yet but will be I'm sure.

I agree, we need to improve. It's the nature of the reaction by folk like bumba that's ridiculous. It's hardly a surprise we're struggling in the first third of the season, and I think most people would've accepted that when we got promoted. Now we're here, the micro timeliness specs are on, and we're considering his position all of a sudden. For me Kompany gets next season in the championship even if we get relegated.

Thinking even medium term for a minute, does giving Kompany that space offer us more or less chance of being successful in the next 5 years? I would say more, much more if you consider the alternative.

Criticising performance is fine, its the knee jerk nonsense that has people begging for him not to go to spurs and wondering how long we'll keep him to...maybe he's not the right guy. It's the emotional intelligence of a toddler who's laughing one minute and screaming the next.

Absolutely true, but we still have to take odd points even from the sequence of games we've had at home, can't just rely on taking points from those around us. Had we taken a point against utd and again yesterday then thing's would look a lot healthier given the upcoming winnable game's, but as you've pointed out we can't be shipping goals like we are.

I don't want him sacked but I want him to learn, for a clever bloke like VK he should of learnt after City that this group isn't good enough to play to top 6 in this style but he's persisted for 5 games in a row now so clearly doesn't see an issue

I don't think he does see an issue , nobody likes to see us outclassed and there's got to be a reason for it.

To play the best like this takes some nerve and belief in your ideas , it either works or it doesn't.

Let's see what happens and if the lessons gained take us forward in this league.

I dont mind if the Club dont mind relegation this season. It is a big gamble expecting to bounce straight back again but these young talented players will get better that is certain. However whether we will improve enough in the next 30 games and average more than a point a game is a big ask
as we still have Liverpool here and then those six away-so 23 games for 32 points-who knows?
Ouch forgot Aresholes- 21games 32 points

In all honesty he couldn't have the slightest grumble of he was sacked in the morning.
Take away last season and it's been absolutely shocking, 5 losses 20 conceded at home it embarrassing
I don't know what's worse - the above post, or me for reading such drivel.

VK is the best thing that happened to us.
Yesterday we had Beyer Ekdal JBG Zaroury Benny Amoundi and Cork missing and injuries to players who played after the win at the Alehouse brawlers who tried to kick us off the pitch

Even for a 'would of could of' this is the most stupid post I've ever seen on here.

So he could argue a solid point against the poor start he's made this season?
If this was a Dyche season everyone would be calling for his head now.
