Parking at Goodison

Post by ClaretInLeeds » Mon Oct 30, 2023 2:09 pm

I know it’s a nightmare, but where’s best to park?

Walton Hall Park, Walton Hall Ave, Liverpool L4 9XP

If you get there earlyish, I normally park on this Leisure centre car park. Was always £5 and it's a doddle to get out of at the end. Think it's about a 10 minute walk to the ground.

Exactly where we park. Bit of a walk to the stadium but can pop into the Taxi Club for a pint on the way to the ground and very good for getting away after the match.

I'm doing what I always do for matches in Liverpool. Drive to Ormskirk Station ( big, free car park) then 20 minutes on the train to Kirkdale.

I'm hoping we park the bus in front of our goal

Free parking, or it used to be anyway. St Hilda Street if you get there a couple of hours before. Park at the main road end so you don’t get blocked in

Do you know whether you can pre-book or do you just turn up ?

I'm not going, but usually park at Anfield and walk through the park.

Might not be so clever for an evening game though.
