If travelling by train stay in the City centre for a few beers. Excellent pubs and craft beer bars in Brum. Trains are every 30 minutes to and from Witton from Birmingham New Street.

Last time we were there I parked outside Walsalls stadium and caught the train in from there to Witton which is a short walk from the ground. The away designated pub is also close by (The Witton Arms)
It's only a 10/15 minute train ride and once back to Walsall it's an easy getaway back onto the M6. Only issue is that the station gets very busy after the match.

That's one we never thought of - worth considering

The traditional away pub, the Witton Arms, is now home fans only.

Yes there are plenty of excellent pre match.pubs in the city centre.

Here are 10 very good ones in this link https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats- ... e-14227887

On the ground, alcohol isn't served in the Upper Tier.

The Colmore is missing off that list, a cracking Thornbridge boozer where you’ll get that best cask Jaipur you’ve ever had

The majority of clarets usually gather in the Briar Rose (Spoons). The Wellington, next door has one of the best selections of ales. Unfortunately for us @mybloodisclaret, no kids allowed....

Wellington- no kids, as I found out to my misfortune a few years ago.

Spoons is fine. Luckily there's plenty of other options.

Wellington and the old joint Stock would be my pick of those.

Peaky blinders bar? Each to their own I suppose.

Nothing decent near the ground is there...?

There's a big retail complex where you can park for free, Star City I think it's called.

Last time we went we parked at King Edward VI School. I think it was about 7 quid to park, but be warned, they don't let you off until all the traffic is gone, which was about an hour and a half after the match finished last time.

Think I went to the Yew Tree last time, had good jerk. Not sure if it's still away fan friendly.

Aston station is supposed to be a lot less busy than Witton station but is a walk of around 15 minutes
