FFS have Berge & Taylor got other plans for Saturday?
Both pushing the limits on getting a second yellow

Wolves, the experts of fouls. They know how to make them and get away with them and they know how to buy them too. Not helped by naive refereeing.

Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
Feel sorry for Trafford.
It's not just him, but a lot of our players aren't good enough on the ball to play the way they're obviously being told to.
Some of them never will be.

We could play til Saturday and not score.
Sheffield game looking like it was Jay's last hurrah but Amdounis been anonymous too, just can't deal with their pressing, they're strong and quick across the pitch.

Jay hasn't had much sight of the ball.

Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
Don’t see it often but I think we should take off the earlier sub JBG and Jay for Redmond and Ramsay

Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
Got to wonder what vk is saying to these players, and question his substitutions.
Another game we should have been away in the distance, shoot ourselves in the foot just before half time, no response from us.
Why can't he get us to up it?
Why can't he see it isn't working and do something pro active about it?

Missed our best chance. Not offered anything in attack but he's far from the only one there Larsen was poor and Amdouni largely bullied out of it.

Didn’t see it until 52 mins but it seems the usual - too naive, lack of nous, exploited by a bit of experience. Including the dug out where there was that silly JBG sub that removed our pace.
We’re getting there though.

Our centre midfield has been missing for the majority of this second half.

Thought Amdouni has been one of the few outlets and pretty much the only one who looks like he could make something happen. Opinions I suppose.spt_claret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 9:18 pmWe could play til Saturday and not score.

Turned off.
Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
Absolute garbage, boring, slow, predictable, easy to play against. Awful performance.
The confidence will flow and we've clicked I heard after Saturday
VK again changed the game for them with his substitution

Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
FFS, what is the point with ninety seconds left of injury time.
Laughable.
Laughable.
Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
We haven’t had any threat since Koleosho left. I’m not terribly disappointed with our defense today, despite the gift of a goal. I think we’d all take one GA in two games. We really need Foster or Benson to return.
