Re: Charlie Taylor
He could move Beyer out there and play Ekdal in the centre. We could do with Ekdal against Everton anyway imo

Re: Charlie Taylor
Vitinho to left back and one of various options to right back is another option, of course.
Re: Charlie Taylor

Let's mess up Vitinho' s development at RB at stick him in at LB.claretspice wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 7:06 pmVitinho to left back and one of various options to right back is another option, of course.

Re: Charlie Taylor
As I said days ago it’s far too easy to pick up 5 cards and get suspended. Granted the referee had had enough when he booked him but other bookings he has had were relatively cheap ones and never a booking a few seasons ago.
Re: Charlie Taylor
We pick up far too many silly yellows, these days. There certainly seems to have been a change in mindset regarding yellow cards, since Kompany arrived.
I’ve not seen comparative figures, but I’d guess that our yellow (and red) cards per game is at a much higher level under Kompany than it was Dyche.

Re: Charlie Taylor
Almost certainly. Our disciplinary record was pretty good under Dyche. Think we challenging for the top of the Fair Play table a few seasons back.DCWat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 9:24 pmWe pick up far too many silly yellows, these days. Re: Charlie Taylor
Not sure just what he did to deserve the booking? Put the ball down for our free kick and then left it for Trafford to take (who'd been taking free kicks from similar positions the whole game).
Re: Charlie Taylor
Ref interpreted it (harshly) as time wasting.

Re: Charlie Taylor
Ref reacted to the Brighton fans if the truth be told.
Re: Charlie Taylor
Bookings for time wasting have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous,if a player doesn’t throw the ball in within 10 secs the crowd are on his back and pressurising the ref to book him and finishes up with a crap throw .
Re: Charlie Taylor
Every team does it, pretend hes going to take it then let the keeper come and take it. Its time wasting but theyve always got away with that type before so it seems harsh.
