Shohei Otanhi
Not a new player for January, but just signed baseballs record breaking contract. £557 million for a 10 year contract. He's 29 so I presume Baseball players have a longer shelf life.
The other strange fact, as a British fan, is he's moved across LA, from the Angels to the Dodgers.

Bugger. I hoped he was moving to Toronto.

That’s 22,280 Michael Duffs
That’s a Michael Duff for every seat inside Turf Moor and a few extra at the Park View Chippy!!

Thought he was taken back on by Birmingham after being released by them in the summer to save money. Might be wrong

Re: Shohei Otanhi
He's at Birmingham, played 13 games for them this season (though mostly under Eustace).
He started Rooney's first two games in charge, was on the bench the next two and not been in a match day squad since 4th November. Not sure if injured or not in Rooney's plans.
