Did ok.
Let the game flow. We just aren't strong or smart enough for this league

For large periods he appeared to be daydreaming and not actually interested in the game he was refereeing. Distinctly average.

Re: RATE THE REF - Anthony Taylor v Everton
DCL could have had a yellow for the elbow on O'Shea. Use of advantage was meh - I want a set piece not play on from a niggle that stops momentum and allows them to get back. Couple of Everton players could have been booked in first fifteen. Inconsistent with positioning of throw ins. We didn't lose because of the ref though. Probably second best performance behind Oliver at Arsenal this season.

Re: RATE THE REF - Anthony Taylor v Everton
Thought we had a good one when picked out two blatant dices from Everton early on but it soon proved the opposite; a largely rancid performance. One booking all game for arguing is pure lol and he's another with no idea of how to play advantage. Just having the ball isn't necessarily an advantage and playing advantage only to pull play back when the team with the advantage waste it is park level reffing.

Re: RATE THE REF - Anthony Taylor v Everton
A game that could have seen more bookings but I see too many games when referees are waving yellow cards around far too often so I'm pleased with that. Also one superb advantage attempted by him that allowed him to bring the ball back when we didn't gain one.
A referee I'm often critical of but not today.

Re: RATE THE REF - Anthony Taylor v Everton
I thought the non booking for the foul on Oderbert when he was through was just ridiculous; there's trying to keep your cards in your pocket then there was this. This type of decision really does rile me.
