Arsenal v Liverpool
Id like both managers to end up losing here, unfortunately that won't happen.
So just hope it's a good game.

Anyone know why the Gunners are wearing a totally white strip? Missed any explanations.
Re: Arsenal v Liverpool
Yeah. Tough watching a game where you'd like both to lose.

Arsenal 11 shots 4 on target Liverpool 1 shot off target sums up the match thus far. One way traffic.

Both benches look poor with virtually zero game changers.

Arsenal need to get Ivan Toney at any cost . They've got everything thing except a decent centre forward.

Brentford have slapped a £100 million price tag on Ivan Toney, a figure that neither Arsenal nor Chelsea seem willing to pay. Thomas Frank adamant player stays past end of January due to injuries to attacking players.expoultryboy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 5:35 pmArsenal need to get Ivan Toney at any cost . elliott should have been sent off for that haircut.
Re: Arsenal v Liverpool
In today's prices £100m is probably right for a goalscorer you need. He would probably have had a hat trick today with the chances Arsenal have created. These top teams just want to try it on with smaller clubs. The top teams are getting ridiculous amounts for their reserve and youth team players.

Harvey Elliot booked for descent,I reckon the games are much better when the ref keeps his cards in his pocket gives it a more blood and thunder atmosphere, unfortunately guys are getting away without being booked in this game and some other poor sap in another game gets booked for sod all.

Exactly this. Shows how soft Berges red was when you see what these "big boys" get away with. All we ask for is consistency but we are never going to get it. Today will have been seen as "reffing the occasion" rather than use the actual laws of the game.ClaretsPadiham wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 5:53 pmHow on earth have Arsenal not scored ?

I've been watching on ESPN, maybe they had the mics set up different (as they do). Atmosphere seemed very flat so I suspect that's the case then, don't know why they turn down the effects mics, annoying.Mark the Claret wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 6:24 pmThey've been singing all the game, arsenal fans have been quiet
