No Michael Mellon, it would be a good game to settle him back at the club.
It could be a sign he will at least make the bench on Friday, especially with Foster looking doubtful.

Would be a waste of time unless we truly intended using him regular, which I doubt. If we play him Friday that means he can’t go anywhere else and he needs games so if we can’t give him plenty then he must go out on loan again.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:28 pmNo Michael Mellon, it would be a good game to settle him back at the club.

Re: U21s v Wigan
I can’t imagine he will be anywhere near our bench on Friday. If he played for us it would mean no further loan.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:28 pmNo Michael Mellon, it would be a good game to settle him back at the club.

Re: U21s v Wigan
Would that still be in the case if he was on the bench but didn't come on (not that I expect it will happen, just curious)?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 1:03 pmI can’t imagine he will be anywhere near our bench on Friday. If he played for us it would mean no further loan.

He will be nowhere near the first team on Friday, his loan move will already have been agreed and he's nowhere near that level at the moment eitherColburn_Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:28 pmNo Michael Mellon, it would be a good game to settle him back at the club.

Richardson seems to be really improving recently, should he not be out on loan soon?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 1:29 pm28 mins: Burnley 1 Wigan 0, Westley with neat finish after a brilliant turn from Richardson

Re: U21s v Wigan
Double substitution at half time with West & Grant replacing Wane & Masara.
Still 1-0 and bloody cold.

Finished 1-1 but Wigan hit the bar with the very last kick of the match.

Fair play to Rovers OS. They put the away team up unlike ours.
