Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
City looked the far sharper of the teams so far in this FA cup reply.
Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
I like Conway. Good player and only 21.
Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
Evidence tonight that Danny Ings isn’t the answer to our need for another striker in January as some have mentioned on the transfer post.
Really weak bench for West Ham too, mustn’t be bothered about the FA Cup this year.

Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
When he played on the Turf a few weeks ago I’m not sure I noticed him until he was taken off. It’s just not working for him at West Ham.
As for Cornet

I thought both Ings and Cornet were both lively up front and don’t think that they are the problem.

Cornet looks disinterested as usual.

They are both being contained by a mid table Championship defenceSouth West Claret. wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:42 pmI thought both Ings and Cornet were both lively up front and don’t think that they are the problem.

McAnuff described Cornet’s first half as a player who doesn’t want to be here.South West Claret. wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:42 pmI thought both Ings and Cornet were both lively up front and don’t think that they are the problem.

Not sure if it's my TV, but does anyone elses camera angle feel awkward/weirdly off centre?

Sensible refereeing and all without VAR.
Good to see.

Pearce is a moron. “williams didn’t help him there, going down”. He been studded to the balls, ffs.

Yes a very open game as far as the neutral is concerned.
Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
Seeing how easily Bristol City are controlling this game makes our defeat to West Ham look even worse. They’re only a couple of players down from the game against us

Pearce is like one of those character relations we all have , who talks about people from back in the day that you’ve never heard of.

VAR would have been working overtime with this game.

Bristol City player should’ve seen red.

Great cross just then from Cornet, who was a good player for us.

Absolutely pathetic attitude/work rate from Emmerson when Wells had that shot a couple of minutes ago.

Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
It’s true though. It would really have helped Benrahma get away with studding the balls if Williams had done the honourable thing and not flinched when he had his sack thwacked.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:56 pmPearce is a moron. “williams didn’t help him there, going down”. Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
Just reading the letters after the BBC report of the game ,Cornet and especially Ings getting some real stick off the West Ham fans.

Watched the Afcon yesterday and Nkoudou put in about 5 brilliant crosses, like Trippier in his prime. I remember when he was here his only crosses were along the ground pullbacks.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:11 pmGreat cross just then from Cornet, who was a good player for us.

Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
My big criticism of Company’s management is that Burnley should spend more time getting the ball into the opposition’s penalty area and less In playing the ball around in their own penalty area!CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 11:54 pmWatched the Afcon yesterday and Nkoudou put in about 5 brilliant crosses, like Trippier in his prime. They might score more goals and consequently get more points.
Re: Bristol City 1 Wet Spam 0
Im not surprised, both were awful. Cornet made one positive contribution all game, he doesn’t want to press when not in possession, an absolute luxury player, never saw much in him when he was a Claret. Ings looks spent, injuries catching up with him.
